Excellent job. It clarified SO many different quarries I have. And the fact that all the key board short cuts are right there next to each command makes it SO much simpler. Thanks and keep going .
Version 1 is very good and anyone could continue working with it, but this second version is incredibly good and brings incredible improvements. Very good work!
I congratulate you for the new tutorials where the image of the person who is explaining does not appear, since this image distracts and covers part of the program's interface. Congratulations!
Is there any possibility that a photo browser, like in Capture One or ON1, will be added? It would make life much easier! Thanks for the great tutorials. 😁
I'm enjoying these tutorials very much. One distinction: On my Mac Book Sonoma, OPTION+SCROLL (on Mouse) zooms the entire screen, including the interface,, not just the document. However, CMD+OPTION+SCROLL zooms in and out just the document.
Please make more tutorials, there are so many tools! I am having trouble with the cut out tools and how to work later with those cut outs. I need to make some stickers, with my dog photos, but I couldn't still find out how... Not replacing background, only transparency. Thank you! PD I use my apple, not my Ipad.
Is there specific reason layer on/off toggle is on the right edge of a layer and not on the left edge? Toggling layers on/off is usually the most used thing in layers and moving mouse/pen from image to layer on/off toggle is easier if the toggle is right next to image. Is it possible to customize this? Of course this wouldn't matter if I had the layers on the left, but somehow I don't see that happening.
It is simple to have the Layers Panel (or any other) on the left just by showing the left studio and dragging the panel out and docking it on the left. Do that with whatever panels you want then save the Studio Preset with a name. You can then swap between preset whenever you want.
this is good , but may I suggest a playlist ? or a video about migrating from photoshop even Capture one has a tool for migrants like me , i've been long houes lookinf for an specific thing about creating a layer from selection , there are some videos but a really bad instructors ... cheers guys !!
I used the Stock window to search for an image and edit it. Select Window > Stock. Then click the checkbox if it's your first time using it, and type in what you're looking for. Select an image you want to edit, and then click and drag the image into the document view area and it will appear. Then you can follow the same steps as described in the video.
The tutorial narrators voice is superb! Is this a person speaking or has this been produced by a speech synthesizer? Please tell me more. Also, if the narrator is an "actual person", please show the narrators name in the description where you're listing "credits". Sidenote: I did notice, that the "New Document Dialog" showed a person called James Ritson, as "logged in". So, I'm assuming the narrator is James Ritson. Is he a developer at Serif? EDIT/UPDATE: Oh, nevermind, I found out EVERYTHING after I googled for "Serif Affinity James Ritson".
In the top right of the video window click the wheel. Then turn on Captions, then Auto-Translate, then click Japanese. I just tried it and it works very well.
For me it doesn't compensate to pay the new version even at a discounted price. Even this discount can be used by anyone even those that din't buy the version 1. It is a bit unfair not having a special upgrade price.

These video for version 2 are very good, I keep learning little tips that I didn't know about. Thanks.
Absolutely superb! Many thanks and looking forward to the rest of the videos.
Thank you. I'm new to Affinity - coming from Photoshop Elements. The video was so helpful.
Brilliant, I am a total beginner & this video is so useful. thank you!

Excellent introduction.
Very useful, thank you
how do you use the 'pinned' option? for opening recents?

What is a "precision" click? Same as CMD click?

Are there going to be updates to the Apple TV training videos? Thanks.
How can I open split view in version 2?
Nice vidéo, where should I find the documents or pictures to redo all the exercice

Can files be saved as .psd and opened seamlessly in Photoshop?
The same overview for the iPad version would be helpful.
I am new to this. I guess that version 1 is just more basic and probably for beginners? Can I do most of the photo editing in version 1?
this is good , but may I suggest a playlist ? or a video about migrating from photoshop even Capture one has a tool for migrants like me , i've been long houes lookinf for an specific thing about creating a layer from selection , there are some videos but a really bad instructors ... cheers guys !!
It would be great if we could get the sample images in all of these tutorials to follow along.

How can I learn for iPad?
Some interface text elements are too small for UHD screens, please fix this.
By default the Window tab isn't present on MacOS. Any idea how to display it ?
Easy, change computer,,,,
Never found any Discount code for the software!

The narratos name is James Ritson and he is a product specialist. Yes, he have an exelent english and also a very good knowledge about the program!
Great introduction
Thanks
Im really battling as to how to set Affinity 2 as a pug in in lightroom
Apologies, new to Affinity 2 here. I cannot see tools on the left side. How do you get tools to show?
Hi, have you inadvertently hidden the toolbar? Try going to View>Show Tools and see if that works. Hope that helps
@@AffinityPhotoOfficial it did help thank you!
Hello I just got Affinity 2 and have never used it for photography before
When you say documents do you mean Photos?
Most likely project file.
So all the shortcuts are displayed as for a Mac user?
Because the narrator was using a Mac. And he consistently mentioned the equivalent Windows key combinations.
Is there an official tutorial with Japanese subtitles?
In the top right of the video window click the wheel. Then turn on Captions, then Auto-Translate, then click Japanese. I just tried it and it works very well.
Thank you. I'll give it a try.
come fa una persona che non parla inglese a seguire e capire il corso???
