Hot damn I've never seen that cold milk stretching technique with the press, that's awesome! Love the aesthetic appeal of that poured onto the iced cold brew.
I’d like to see a Moka pot video as well . And your opinion on it . Oh and where in the ranking would Moka pot be at . Thanks for all the great videos keep on keeping on !!! 💪🏽
I know that many espresso purists will turn their noses up at recipes like this, but I think it’s nice to indulge once in a while. I’ve been learning a lot from your content. It’s much appreciated!
Matthew Smith that’s true, I know a lot of people don’t love the sweet stuff, and the PSL definitely is a seasonal punching bag. But like you said, it’s okay to indulge! Thanks again for the kind words, I appreciate the support!
I just tried this recipe (what better to do on a Sunday right?). It was very easy and the syrup tasted promising. But actually in the finished drink (I tried a single shot cappuccino with 15ml of syrup) I found the flavour to be lacking a bit. It‘s not coffee neither pumpkin. I‘ll try more syrup next time but maybe you have another suggestion? Bean was: lightly roasted forest Arabica from Ethiopia. Perfect in a Cappu.
I’d say adjusting the syrup amount is always going to be up to your tastes. It’s not super pumpkin flavored, but the spices and ginger should definitely come through without an issue. I have found that syrups like this tend to work best in less acidic more chocolate and mild flavored espressos and blends.
Thank you for your suggestions. Now that you say it I think a rather dark espresso bean would definitely give a more interesting taste. I'll try it and let you know. Keep up your good work! Greetings from Switzerland.
It’ll keep in the fridge for a week, since it has a lot of fresh ingredients it won’t last long. I don’t worry much about that because I don’t use a lot per drink. But if you are making it with more syrup and are concerned with the temp you can put it in your milk and steam it in the milk. Just be on top of your purging game.
Thank you! Honestly you can just go and go and go with the Mini. As long as you keep the water flowing into it you can brew just as fast and a commercial single group machine.

The cold drink look good to drink but, one question with the hot pumpkin latte you add pumpkin syrup first before the expresso or you add the syrup after pouring in the expresso first?
Just curious, why did you go back to using the ocd tool? In your distribution video you stated that going forward you wouldn’t be using it. What changed? Not trying to hate but genuinely curious.
I remember when Halloween brought on good nightmares like monsters. Now I’m an adult and all my October nightmares are pumpkin spiced....
love this, can't wait to try this on my home machine! Make tutorials on homemade vanilla and caramel syrups next please!
Thank you! I’ve got a vanilla tutorial moving forward at the moment!
Made this for the first time today. Fantastic! Thank you!

I'm not a PSL fan, but this recipe was easy, very good, and the wife loved it. Thanks!
I can’t wait to try this
Dude amazing. Just made it.
VanCityCanuck tis’ the season! Cheers!
Yo Spro! Just made this, delicious! Love these recipes as always.
Thanks Alex, glad you enjoyed!
Wow, that’s amazing. Thanks for sharing.

What coffee beans are best for PSL?
Stay golden Pony Boy.😀👍🏻
This is a great recipe!
Thanks Matthew, I appreciate that!

man this looks delicious!
So good, and so easy. Definitely worth a shot!
I can't wait to try this recipe 😁😍🍂🍁☕🎃
Nice video! That recipe looks really good and I'm looking forward to trying it. One question: What's the shelf life on this?
Thank you! Since all of the ingredients are fresh I would only store it for a week max.
Boom!
What a wonderful video! Those recipes look delicious🧡
How do I make the pumpkin purée? Also which type of pumpkin do you buy?
Do you think using less water and skipping the 15 mins cooking down would be approx the same?
How long can the mixture last when put in the fridge?
Super interesting..
Indeed!
What milk you used for the foaming? 2%? Btw your drinks look really nice👍🏻
Thank you! I used whole milk in all these drinks.
How come you froth with the pitcher sideways? Thanks!!
Nice! 🕶️☕
oh my gosh yes! thanks for this (I agree the regular PSL's are way too sweet bleck)
No problem! Glad you enjoyed it!
Starbucks psl cold brews are too sweet because they add two pumps of vanilla syrup. Ask them to not put in the vanilla syrup
Jaysus looks savage.
Oh it is!
hi I was wondering if you ever did a video on why you purchased the la marzocco machine
It’s definitely been requested and I’ve been workshopping some ideas for a review and overview. Stay tuned for that soon.
which glass is that? it looks very good.
I don’t know unfortunately. I’ve had them for nearly a decade. I’d say most likely got them at Target though .
Just found your channel a little bit ago and already I'm highly impressed. Crack on m8 👍
Thanks John! I appreciate you stopping by and your encouraging words!
Great video man! How long does the syrup last though?
Thank you! It’ll Keep in the fridge for a week.
Thank you I was just going to ask this.
I have pumpkin spice 'spice' lol. How much would you suggest I use in replace of all the separate spices to make 'pumpkin spice flavor'
I would just do it by taste at that point. Sample some until it’s strong enough to stand out.
I did a tbsp. Thank you
That might be fucking delicious!
Might be? Trust me, it is!

Thank you for the video! How long does this keep in the fridge?
Also do you worry about the syrup cooling down your drink when you use right out of the fridge or do you heat it up somehow?

The Real Sprometheus Thanks for the tips!! I just made it today! I love it! Thank you very much!!
Nice recipie !!! How many cups can you. Brew in a hour / day with the la marzocco Linea mini ?
Thank you! Honestly you can just go and go and go with the Mini. As long as you keep the water flowing into it you can brew just as fast and a commercial single group machine.

@@Sprometheus thank you !!!
Nice cat spoon Spro. We have the same ones 😹😹😹😹
Haha thank you, it was a gift from my mom a couple years ago. It makes an appearance from time to time.
The cold drink look good to drink but, one question with the hot pumpkin latte you add pumpkin syrup first before the expresso or you add the syrup after pouring in the expresso first?
That’s all up to you. You can even put it in the milk and steam it as long as you are being sure to purge your wand throughly afterwards.
@@Sprometheus thanks

Totally! If you look back in my videos check out the one called ODC V3 - Don’t Call it a Comeback. That’ll explain it.
When i add a shot of espresso to ice and (plantbased) milk, it always tastes bitter and i have to throw away the whole drink.. how does this happen?
Where’d you get that kitty cat spoon?
Actually it was a gift from my mom a couple years ago, but I’m sure you could find it online with a bit of research.
I prefer to have a pumpkin spice creamer instead of a syrup. I tried this and it ended up with the spices in the coffee not dissolving.
Could you please define 1 cup? How much grams is that? Units please 1 cup is such a variable thing
A cup is a unit of measurement. In the U.S. it’s 8 ounces.
@@Sprometheus Thanks
until when is the syrup good for?
It should last up to two weeks in the refrigerator
@@Sprometheus awesome!! Thank you!!
