The genus name campanula is derived from the Italian bell meaning 'bell' and refers to the shape of the flowers. The word is from Late Latin around 1630's, bell , originally meant 'to metal vessel made in Campania,' the region around Naples. All campanulas have bell-shaped flowers, although the flower forms vary considerably. .
Persicifolia means 'with leaves like a peach tree'. Campanula persicifolia is quite a delicate-looking plant, although, like many of its relatives.

AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! I have stayed up almost all night trying to watch as many video's as I can. Can you Please tell me if these techniques would work with paper as I am a card maker and don't use Crepe paper and don't know how it would hold up over time (the crepe) I hope you say paper would work otherwise I will have to be buying crepe.. :) but thank you for sharing you amazing talent with us, as I can't get over how beautiful your flowers and talent are..THANK YOU again...
