One of the main reasons popcorn was a night or special snack is the time I grew up in-60's-early 70s. We didn't have all these bags of popcorn at stores, no microwave popcorn. It was oil and unpopped corn, popcorn machines until the magic of Jiffy Pop, which always seemed to burn. By the time microwave popcorn blew up, I was out on my own, so would snack on it at all hours of the day. Now I only eat Puffcorn because it has zero hulls. I hate hulls. Well, except on ships. Hulls are pretty important on a ship.😁

The All Dressed chips are bomb…
Aldi has "Atomic" pickle chips in the deli section during this time of year. They're not spicy to me (though what even is...) but the texture is great. They're too thick for a sandwich, but they're a good snacking size. 😃I highly recommend them.
They also have regular dill if you don't want any heat. Either way, they're WAY better than the mushy, disgustingly sweet jarred ones in the condiment section. (And that is coming from someone who likes sweet pickles)

Since the all dressed are seasonal I get a bag every spring/summer. I love all dressed chips which is ironic given that I dislike salt and vinegar lol.

The Deutsche kuche brand from Germany. 150 calories for 1 cup. Ingredients are corn grits, peanuts, oil and salt.
