I love the the recent ost have been transformed into something more than “last breath but edgy”
I mean, the songs arnt even simular to the original versions anymore. It kinda makes me sad a bit that it’s been completely replaced basically but it’s not that big of a deal

@@blancogohan I mean, I actually really liked always a murderer II, as it starts so abruptly, and the main few melodies are just good. Honestly still prefer it over the newer renditions, but the rest of the OST is way better now, ngl

At this point, it's no longer anywhere close to the quality of most AU soundtracks, I have immense hope that this project will forever impact the fandom for good, and show how it is capable of great things despite its flaws that have stained it with such horrendous reputation from the ''people'' that are part of it

The songs first seemed like Undertale Last Breath ripoffs but with edgier music. But now it almost sounds completely new and different, I a good way. I wonder if the game itself is going to be getting the same love and treatment like it's OST is getting?

It's a good song, but it sounds very different and it's hard getting used to.

I feel like the constant remasters of Phase 1 and Phase 2 are dragging it too far from Dusttale. This feels like a totally different game, without any link to what it used to be, and i don't really like that.

Agree. And I think the old versions of phase 1, Phase 2 hardmode and phase 3 was much better.

@@hopefuldreamer6725 I don’t like the game for being original because if it tries to become too original, it sort of unbalances the aus it corresponds with. I still want the music to have unchanged leitmotifs from dusttale and undertale last breath, so it doesn’t lose sight of what it’s made of.

Honestly I really prefer older versions, this one is just a bit boring to me
I'm not a big fan of this type of music to be honest. It's just too edge-like to me. I get it's more original, but I'll still prefer the older versions of this track over the newer ones. More original doesn't necessarily mean better. Just my honest opinion
Update: I've started to like this version of the theme more (mostly a specific part of the song), but I still dislike phase 3's theme. It gives me a headache just trying to listen to it. It's bad in my opinion
I dont really like these new takes. While I understand and appreciate them, all I hear is dark souls chanting with a beat I cant really follow. Say what you want about the originals but to me, even though they could be described as just "dusty last breath" still sounded good and different enough to be its own thing. Which it never really NEEDED to evolve past that, but like I said, I can understand why. Besides from that, excited about the fangame.
