Hey Bobby, I wanted to loop back and thank you for this comment. I've reflected on this and really appreciated your words. I realize the time I have with my son on the bike like this is limited. He is getting bigger and I can't do this much longer with him. I've made a point to really enjoy it with him. Thank you.
This was good stuff. Don’t like watching people stopped all the time revving the crap out of the bike while they duck walking the bike over rocks. Much better covering ground. Cool trail
Great Video man. Yiu are improving alot with each ride stabbing thr throttle less 🤣 and being in the revs more. Your balance and standing position are looking good. You should definitely enter a few races. You may not shock the world, but you will 100% gain a hige confidence boost and skills boost competiting even if its just casually. Hope you stay out of your comfort zone man. Great riding
I appreciate the positive feedback, I can feel the improvement as well. I'm definitely trying to stay out of my comfort zone while also not killing myself. It's a tricky but important balance 👍
Thanks, man! The first long trail is 4x4 trails, the final trail in the video is the single track they have up here. This place has potential, but you can ride all of the single track that exists in about an hour.
Hi have you heard about the crankcase sensor being faulty on there's bike I've also got the same bike and fixed the problem straight away in low rpm you have what I call a shuttering sound. Look it up on youtube swap the air sensor with the crankcase one there the same your bike will feel 100% better
That is one tough question. If you don't mind mixing fuel and oil the 200 is an extremely well liked bike. I have ridden one and can confirm it felt like it had better bottom end than my 150. However, the ease of use of the 150 is amazing and you can make a few adjustments to get it very close to what the 200 feels like. I came from 4 strokes so I really didn't feel like premixing fuel, I'd probably get the 150 again if I had to choose. But my preference won't be the same as everyone else's.
I have a 505 cheater 110/100-18 and a 546 fatty 90/100-21 on my 150, used them since they came out. Throw those handle bar risers away, 17 onward KTM have high bars already. Still got that faulty sensor, mine died again the other week makes it so hard to ride.
Sounds like you've got a nice set up 👍. I lowered the rise to 15mm and have the bars further forward, we'll so how this works. I can't wait to replace my sensor, it's ran like this since day 1 so I don't even know what it would feel like with a good sensor.
Hey man great videos I have one question tho if that’s alright. Do you like the 150 tpi because I was looking to buy it after my current bike which is a crf150r but I know that the 150 have less power and I’m afraid I won’t like it so what your opinion on all of it?
So far I absolutely love this bike. Also, 150 TPI is a 2 stroke so it will be a lot faster than the crf150. The bike I was riding before this was a TTR 125L which is similar to your 150, and the KTM 150 TPI is MUCH faster. It is also a full sized dirt bike. I plan on doing a review of my bike fairly soon, you might find that video to be helpful!
@@206bGoss It won't really matter to you but the crf150r is an mx race bike with more than 2.5x the power of the ttr125, they're really different bikes. It's difficult to find real power figures of the 150xc but from what I've gathered, it's actually less than the 150r.
The 150r is a small mx race bike that races in the 85cc class. The 150xc is full sized bike meant for Enduro (from what I've found, you are correct that the 150xc will have less power than the 150r). If you're looking for another mx bike, the ktm 150sx might be the right option. It's got about double the power of the 150r. But if you're not looking to go on the track, the 150xc is a great bike to step up to.
I haven't yet, and may in the future. Ultimately, I felt like the risk of injury wasn't worth it. That being said, I recently bought a 2016 250 scorpa trials bike and have competed once. I plan on uploading again in the near future with a higher frequency once winter comes and goes. Thanks for checking back in 👍
Question for you - does this bike require a key to start? I don't have the most secure bike storage and just wondering if you need a key or something to start it up? Or is it like my bike where you can kick it over and go?
It doesn't require a key to start. Nor do you have to even kick this one. One nice thing about the 150 vs the 300 is you can change the sparkplug without removing the tank. This means you could disconnect it and if someone tried to start it nothing would happen. If they were smart enough to check the spark plug then you're SOL.
I got the 100-100-18 525 cheater on a 30hp bike, coming from an almost 13lb 110 tire it shaved 2lbs off and really woke up the motor. It was only 3/8" slimmer than the 110 and the 525 has wide side lugs so with low psi the surface area contacting the ground wasnt real different. Traction improved cuz of the cheater rubber. Only negative i felt is that it liked to dig in deeper sand, needed more throttle.
Your son will remember riding with you forever! keep up the good work!
I can't wait to keep riding with him as he gets older! Thanks for the support.

Always enjoy watching your vids. Wish i could get out as much as you.
Glad you're enjoying the videos! I'm definitely lucky to ride this often, something I don't take for granted.

I think you're right! I've already ordered a new CCPS. Once I get it I will do a before and after comparison video.
How tall are you? I’m wanting to go with a more compact bike.
I'm 6'2". The 150 is the same size as a 300, just a tad lighter.
Hey mate I'm looking go bye a ktm 200 xcw or a ktm 150 xcw tpi what do you recommend?
