recently This park is in the zone of the area for sports such as basketball, badminton, table tennis, etc. and will soon open for riding a duck boat like Lumpini Park.
Jeroen. Thanks for this update. My fav park in Bangkok. Walked there during my stay from 2015-2020. Am retiring there in 2024 so looking forward to this. Will try to find a condo close to Terminal 21 and The Park so can visit the park often.
I love to access the parks from sukhumvit 10 alley, because I stay in a hotel there. And of course thats the parks entry point for anyone whose from the Asok area also.
I hope they push and make an effort to complete the barren buildings! In one sense it’s nice they are reusing it but to be safer they should just reconstruct those structures to bring it up to code!
Little behind on watching your videos :) been a busy summer so far. Next time we visit, we will make time for Benjakitti park for sure. Loved the sounds of nature there in the video. Thanks for sharing ❤
Actually they open a larger and safer bycycle lane in the new park next to it. The old lane around the lake is so small and could be dangerous to the walking people. 😊
Should also mention its a nice walk to from Nana BTS and down soi 10. Brings you to the lake park, forest park and the green mile. I always thought they would reopen the bike lane. They even repainted the tracks in certain places. Not I am not so sure. As for the duck boats, I dont think well see them on the lake again. It's a lovely park, but upkeep isn't something Thais take pride in.
I had a girlfriend who's name was Kittiwadee, we lived for awhile before you get to Klong Toei. Her niece, who is the only contact I have of them now, is Benchawan. So Ben-Ja-Kitti. It wasnt there are in full like it is now. Strange coincidence?
Great video and very informative! I have one (probably stupid) question. I will stay in Sukhumvit soi 20 for a week over christmas and I would love to go to Benjakitti park, but after seeing your video I would like to follow your footsteps and start at the convention centre. Should I take the MRT from Asoke in that case? I am sure it would be closer just to walk to the park from soi 20 but like I said, It would be nice to do the same trip as you did.
@@globaltravelmate Allright, I thought so but wasn't sure. I will stay at soi 20, Sukhumvit at the moment and I guess it will be a longer way to get to the park but I really want to go through the convention centre as well, that was totally new to me. Again, thanks for your informative video!
Smarter to use the rabbit card. If it gets compromised, not the end of the world. If your credit card gets hacked ,much more of a pain. Tho 1:58 ughts?
My gosh! Looking younger. Must be all that polluted 'Kreung Tep Mahanakon' air you're breathing in. Keep up the splendid displays. If I may be so brash as to suggest that you slow down your panning speed. I think that will make the video better. Slow down man! Ha ha.
I love Benjakitti park. I spent all last week there, was staying on Soi 1!!!
This is the easiest way for people take the MRT. Thank you for sharing.

Very big park in the heart of city is fan
Is fantastic
You try to explore the gardens from the Phupa to the Mahathi Park and the King Rama IX Memorial Park. Or Nang Loeng Park, see where it has gone.
Thanks 🙏 for the many updates on Bkk, love them all.
You review the places of various places. Very good. Thai people are almost never gone. It's beautiful and looks very good.👍
Nice Video 👍

i just subscribed , thanks for your excellent content
can you please tell me what the air pollution is like in places like the park ?
Air quality is ok now.
I was here in 2019 but I didn't fimd the Skywalks, didn't know that existed
"it has a bicycle path but we are not allowed to use bicycles here". How zen!
Hahaha, yes.

Cool 📽️👍🏻
Just ask: What is the difference to access the park from Sukhumvit MRT?
From Sukhumvit MRT you enter the park from the North.
since you mentioned asoke, just curious. how far is this area to gmmtv?

seems crazy people wait to buy tokens.........don't they have a stored value card for this system?

If you want to start from the QSNCC it is best to take the MRT from Asok. It's only 1 station.

My fear too 😊😊
I understand your fear, but like this you can never use your credit card.

How about mosquitoes?
Never had any issues with mosquitos there

Thank you for the tip. I wanted to show how long it takes to get to the Forest Park :-)
