@@ChadvonNugget Well yeah, but it's not really Tahm's fault, it's the dude going full AP with him lmao. Most Tahms that actually play him use his R appropriately in teamfights. I know I use it at least 3 or so times a match at critical points during teamfights. The spirit of Kench is to lick people and gluttonize, if you wanna swallow an enemy do it, if you wanna save an ally do it. Maybe he'll never be the same, and maybe that's a good thing because current Tahm is on average way more fun than the old one.

It's strong alright but it's risky. Look at Nidalee/Zoe, they both have abillities with 150% scaling, except their abillities also have higher base damage and lower cooldowns. Granted Nidalee has a hard time landing spears from long range, but she just needs to spam them with their fairly low cooldown. Zoe on the other hand... Just land a bubble, then use Q + Auto. That's (150%+20%+45%)=215% AP magic damage + 45% AP true damage + her bubble now lowers your magic resist by 30%... Oh and both Zoe and Nidalee can deal their massive damage from a way safer distance... Basically AP Kench can burst you down, but if you miss W and they have minions blocking your Q, you are the one that's going to get burste down, it's still a risky champ and even if they buff it again, it's lack of wave clear will keep him from being a viable AP champ. (Oh and let's not forget Riot buffed MF's E to deal 120% AP magic damage, again, from a safe distance, and this is an abillity that's nearly impossible to dodge...)

Old AP Kench is still more fun, but Kench in general will never not be fun to play.
