I main France, and at 7.7, we’re in the same predicament as Germany. 90% of the vehicles are 1950s prototypes with solid shot AP facing off MBTs with Spaced armour and APSFDS. Great video!

Great vid as always brotha. However I think I'm one of the few that really love the patton series tanks. I usually do well enough in them. I'm just surprised you only took heat with it. I usually throw in a few aphe rounds for backup.
Really dislike the tank (doesnt fit my playstyle i think) but good point with the ammo. For sure gonna change that😉

Im at german 8.0 right now and its so unenjoyable. I get 90% of the the time 8.7+ lobbies with subpar rounds against better armor, reload speed, and APFSDS

@@Rhsig i finally got into a downtier and in my leopard 1, I went through 6 kills, 4 assists, and was 500 points off a nuke and then immediately followed by 2 8.7 lobbies, one if which my DM13 sabot shot non-penned side on a light tank
@@Artifex422 I actually find it to be quite fun at 9.0. I have the leopard A1A1, the TAM 2IP and the Gepard. I would really reccomend buying the TAM 2IP for its mobility and firepower. Mostly once you can access APFSDS then the pain of fighting soviet vehicles with their invincible fuel tanks and drivers optics will go away for the most part and you can have more fun. Also as a side note the Gepard is both an amazing SPAA and light tank destroyer.
Something that could greatly affect this German br is the sudden exchange of tanks with good armor such as Panthers and Tigers for the Leopard 1 and a wide range of lighter vehicles such as the M41, BMP and Marder, something that used to be tank destroyers. slow with powerful cannons and long range
Thats true, before that youre used to a heavy one-killing shot kind of playstyle. Really changes the approuch, youre onto something

9:21 it was an internal fuel tank fire those can’t be extinguished as they extinguish automatically this is common for Leopard 2’s and Abrams
But for a Maus, must say i was surprised. This was the first time this has happened to me;)
They should really give Germany T-54/55. East Germany did field them and it would add some MBTs around 7.7-8.3 which Germany really lacks. They already have a T72 and a few other east German vehicles so I could see it as an addition. I feel that Gajin really has ignored East Germany and could have added so much more vehicles, granted I think it would remove the uniqueness of the mid tiers of the Soviet Tech tree even more, Sweden and China already steal some of the most popular Soviet Tanks, but I think its fine to fill the gaps or if it makes sense, which in Germanys case I think 100% it makes sense to do so.

The Spz BMP-1 is one the best in that lineup @ 7.7. With the SACLOS MISSILE offcourse. 4 of them and then the 75 mm cannon with 300 mm HEAT which is surprisngly good and has a quick reload.

@@koenruysseveldt3848 Yep, they just now changed it from 7.7 to 8.0.
Planning to play the BMP in one of the next videos, but for the named reasons in the other comments i didnt add it into the lineup:)

makes it easier to bait people without switching guns directly
I did that and it worked in the past and still the keys are set. But since the new update 2/3 months ago it doesnt work anymore, idk why man

I find the stock apcr on the m48 more useful against tanks tbh and you got 50's for light targets that being said it's not a good tank whatsoever and those without the maus struggle really with Germany 7.7
Really APCR, i find no round worse than this. I remember playing with it stock and it was very painful

Maus is fun, I usually play it with sturmtiger, tiger 2 h, and panther f (I don't own 105 and panther 2 sadly)

honestly its still far better than Uk 7.7,sure they got stabilizers,but thats literally THE ONE DECENT THING
UK is not even in the debate, whoever chooses to play UK on a voluntery base deserves my respect
It's really not that bad I don't know if it got buffed but the centurion mk5/1's and the mk3's 84mm does pretty consistent damage for me. The bit thing is targeting the gunner so if you don't one tap you have time to reload. As a back up I have a fox and for cqc maps I have the avre and for late game I have the conqueror. It's a really solid line up but for the conqueror you can't really trust the hull armor

Insane that Leopard 1 is 8.0 while STB-2 and Type 74 are 8.3 but have stabilizer and laser range finder.
I agree the leopard sucks at 8.0 due to a lot of enemy tanks having stabilizers
I don't buy into the whole "germany bad" meme, but the AMX-30 in France has been sitting at this BR since forever and we don't complain about it.
The Leopard 1 is better in all aspects and sat at a lower BR until very recently.

With comparisson of the Marder, i do pefer to take the Marder as support IFV. But the BMP is also hella fun:)
we need our fucking removed vehicles back or some experimental tanks. The 6.7-7.7 lines ups are inexistent and the rule about prototypes is BULLSHIT
