great video this helped me plan for my vehicle pick up. Thank you
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
So glad I stumbled across this - what a great video. Thank you for your effort! I definitely would have snagged one of those BMW's if I had passed them by!
Amazing video! Nice to see this cars in SFO! Keep them up
Thanks a lot!
Really nice video. Enjoyed the narration and comprehensive tour of all the different isles, as usual!
Thanks for the feedback! This was the first video where I added narration and wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out. I did realize I don’t know the names of all the car models especially the Nissans and need to learn those. Lol
Très belle vidéo ,merci à vous 👍
Thank you so much for your help 👍👍👍
Happy to help. Thanks for watching!
Love watching your channel. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching and the feedback!
I was here a few months ago. So many large suvs in executive. I guess people didn’t want to park them. Armadas, expeditions, and tahoes. There was also a QX80, but it had 60,000 miles. We took a Grand Cherokee.
Thank you so much!!!!!
You're welcome! Thanks for the feedback!
Nice video, when are you traveling to Denver? Really curious about Hertz and National.
Hi - thanks for the video! Is there an Emerald Reserve (one level below aisle) in SFO? if you booked a compact - how can you tell which car is compact and which midsize?
Nice video, thanks for the info! Just a quick question. I’ve got matched to national executive elite recently and wanted a ford mustang convertible for my coming vacation. Do I need to reserve the convertible category or I can just do a midsize and go find one in the emerald aisle(should be cheaper than go directly for convertible imo)? I’m renting in SFO. Thanks for your help!
It is so appreciated! Will you have some video in the IAH?
If I am ever at IAH will definitely do a video there. Thanks for watching!
Hi. What kind of cars I will get in Alamo Luruxy in San Francisco? Thanks e congratulations fou your videos!
Greetings, got a question regarding to picking up a rental car at SFO; Do we get to choose exactly which car to drive within the class of vehicle we booked? Or the staff will pick a car and give you the key? Thank you in advance!
Hey, great video!
I am planning to pick up a rental from SFO in a couple months. I am currently deciding between premium, full size elite or luxury from either enterprise or national. Please can you let me know what vehicles I can expect from these classes and which is better at SFO out of national and enterprise (I am not a member of emerald or exec). Ideally I would like a BMW 330i or 530i.
Thanks!
Thanks for watching! National and Enterprise (and also Alamo) are all the same company and share the same fleet. Premium would most likely be something like a Nissan Maxima or Chrysler 300S. I would suggest booking a Luxury or Full Size Elite with National or Enterprise (whoever has the lowest rate). Full Size Elite would be the higher of the two categories however if there is a big difference in price I would probably just book luxury as the vehicles in each category would be roughly the same. A BMW 330i could be available for either a luxury or a full size elite for example.
@@CarRentalGuy thanks so much - Very helpful! Full size elite is actually working out slightly cheaper than luxury so I will go with that. Out of the 3 operators, Alamo is the cheapest to book with. Would I be at any disadvantage in terms of choice and selection at SFO with Alamo over national (next cheapest)? I know when I picked up last at LAX, national had a nicer selection than at Alamo.
Thanks again
Gotta hit up CLT in Charlotte, NC
The BMW X2 X7 7 series and 3 series that didn’t have a upgrade extra price sign were they in the executive aisle?
So you can get them without any extra charges?
Thanks for watching! The BMW 330i in the thumbnail was in the executive aisle and was available without any extra charges! The X7 for sure would be an extra charge. And I have seen 2 series BMWs sometimes in the aisle.
I'm picking up a rental in sfo next week with Dollar. I've opted for a Surburban (or similar) and I just wondered if Dollar let you pick your own vehicle like Alamo do. Can you tell me at all? Thanks in advance
Thanks for watching. Sadly no choice with dollar car rental. I would highly recommend any of National, Alamo or Enterprise if you can find a similar rate.
@adventuresontheroad can you do a 2023 walking through of SFO National?
hi is it possible to rent a car in SFO and drop off somewhere in Las Vegas ?
Any difference between Avis, Hertz and Alamo? I normally go alamo but they’re more expensive than other 2 in this location. I want the least hassle at the front desk and a decent selection of suvs
Your best bet is Alamo or Enterprise and if you want to skip the counter go with National and sign up for their emerald club which is free.
Have started seeing Honda rentals here and there but never seen a Lexus 🤔
Have you ever had to cancel a reservation and if so was there a cancellation fee?
How do you know if something is already reserved by another person?
Is there a deposit required for out of town renters if you are flying in?
There is a hold or a pre-authorization on your credit card typically of a couple hundred dollars plus the cost of the rental depending on the location and company. One of our viewers mentioned at some airports there is an additional hold if you are local and aren't flying in due to a problem with theft of vehicles.
I really wanna know why on why you travel so much.
Sorry if I didn’t see any, but did you see any electric vehicles?
I don't think I recall seeing any at SFO. Perhaps they were all rented or hopefully they will be getting more soon. Hertz SFO definitely had some Tesla Model 3's. National at other locations such as LAX and MIA have quite a few Polestars and other Electric vehicles.
