  • This video is an overview of battery meter settings for a 2017 LCD with a Li-48v. You'll be able to increase the screen's battery sensitivity, using these settings.
    BATTERY DISPLAY
The sensitivity on the screen is adjustable. If needed, we can recalibrate it to suit your riding conditions. Start by turning the sensitivity up just a little (see video for some recommended settings). Keep in mind, that unless we make it very sensitive, it will give the best result while riding (under load) rather than while stationary, since voltage drops under load, if we wanted it to read accurately while stationary, it would look quite low while riding, etc.
    INCREASING SENSITIVITY
Open the settings (press and hold the up and down arrows at the same time for 3 seconds. “m” goes to the next setting. Up or down changes the setting)
Go to setting ST5 (battery type). It should be set on 48Li. If it is not set on that (for instance, it’s set on 36Li), then that is throwing off the reading.
If you want to increase the sensitivity, change ST5 to DIY
Then go to setting VO-0 through VO-5
    VO-0: 44
    VO-1: 46
    VO-2: 47.2
    VO-3: 48
    VO-4: 49.1
    VO-5: 51.9
Save the settings (press and hold "M" for 3 seconds), turn the screen off (press and hold "M" for 3 seconds), and back on again, (press and hold "M" for 3 seconds), then test.
