I've not had a washer or dryer for over 5 years now. We now have 5 people in the house including a 3 month old who is in cloth diapers. After we had our son I didn't feel like always needing to go away for a whole day at one our family's house to do laundry. I started washing everything out by hand about 6-7 weeks ago. Then I looked up how to wash clothing at home. I decided the breathing washer would be better then a washboard. I am very pleased with the results of the breathing washer. After some trial and error I have found a great way to wash our clothes. I use a 13 gal trashcan to wash our clothes. It works very well! I fill up the trashcan with water, soap, 1 cup of baking soda and put our clothes in a mesh bag. I agitate it for about a minute. (The breathing washer is in the mesh bag) Then let it soak for at least 15 minutes. Then I agitate it again for a couple minutes. I pull the whole bag up and put it into another trash bag with clean water and 1 cup white vinegar. I let it soak another 15 minutes and then agitate before I pull the whole bag up again to drain the water. I hang the whole bag up to drip before I stomp all the water out in the bath tub. Once everything is wrung out I hang it on a drying rack by our dehumidifier. My husband was skeptical at first that I could get it all clean but so far he is satisfied with the results.
I love your thinking outside the box and your solution is a direction I would actually try! WTG! And not going somewhere to wash and the dragging stuff and family out is WIN_WIN! I hope all your kids learn to be self sufficient'ish too!
I've been using a breathing mobile washer for over 10 years. Don't need as much detergent as with a regular washing machine. I agitate for 5 to 8 minutes depending on how dirty they were then wring out the soapy water. I use white vinegar in the rinse water bucket to remove extra soap. About 1/4 cup is enough, if I don't use too much soap. Wring out the clothes again to remove excess rinse water. The vinegar smell evaporates as the clothes dry. For heavily soiled or sweaty clothes, I soak them in soapy water overnight. Wring out that water and wash the clothes in fresh, soapy water. Then rinse in the white vinegar water, wring well, and hang on the clothes line.
You've got the right idea but you need to put more water in that pail. I have one of these mobile washers and it works infinitely better when you have enough water in the pail and, of course, enough soap as well. Also, don't put too many clothes in at a time. Better to do a few pieces at a time. This washer actually does a better job than a modern electric washer if you use it right.
StrawberryKisses - Yeah, I noticed that too and then they through the water into the grass. Not everyone is aware I guess of the best products to use. Enjoyed her video though 😊😊
I just started using this thing so I would not spin up all my money washing my clothes at all it works wonderful 👍😊 for me save me a hold lot of money to 😇🙏
I used to buy electric portable washers, went through 3 within 2 years. The wand cleans just as well. I put the washing wand in one of the broken washers that has a spinner attached that still works. If something is stained, I wash the area by hand, agitate laundry for a minute or two, let soak 10 mins, agitate another 1 to 2 minutes and drain, throw in the spinner and then in my wee dryer.
I've been using an oversized restaurant potato masher from ebay for 15 years. It works great. The problem with this device is the diameter of it is too big for a 5 gallon bucket...
You need to get rid of that guy.....a know it all! We need a new video without him. She is doing it right. The water is pushed up through the material and to prevent the handle from coming loose, you need to wrap some waterproof tape around the threads and tighten it up.
One 5 gallon bucket. Pour in water, 3/4 to the top. Add laundry soap. Mobile washer to plunge a bit. Let sit in soapy water about an hour. then plunge and wash. Tip bucket into a laundry basket, lay basket on its side and let water drain. Refill bucket with clean water. dump wet clothes from basket into bucket, plunge, then drain . Repeat. Use a salad spinner to spin out most of the moisture, line dry. Been doing this for literal years, and 70 years old. Nothing to it.
This thing work pretty well. I have been using it for almost 2 years now. I always soak it with detergent, white vinegar and baking soda for about 2 hours before I wash it. It came out great! My white sock and white t shirt are bright white.
There's one very important caveat, she notes: “Both vinegar and baking soda can be used to clean your washing machine and clothing, but they should not be mixed together because they neutralize each other.
I am sure many know that, but some may not. If it's warm out, you might want to place your bucket with dirty clothes under the sun and soak your dirty clothes in water with soap. Placing this bucket under the sun, so water is warm is not crucial, still keeping this water warm should help. If you could leave your clothes sitting there and just soaking for at least 2 - 3 hours, better yet 10 - 24 hours, you'd clearly see that water gets really filthy! Even without washing, soaking alone is removing a lot of dirt out of your clothes! So, following washing and good rinsing make them much cleaner! I actually soak my own laundry at home every time, even with my electric top-loading spinner.
Many videos online showing people using a plunger that has holes in it instead of the plunger thingy purchased from Amazon. Crap. I need to make one ☹️🙂
Buy a laundry spinner to extract the water. I broke down and bought one! My poor wrists and hands have had it! Been doing laundry by the bucket and tub since April of 2020! 👵 Also.....you will need an electric drill to sear the holes into any plunger!
Yes I have a Panda Spinner ( there is also the Ninja spinner.) It was the best laundry purchase I ever made. Clothes dry realuvely quickly after being spun.
is good for light clothes, like sucks, T-shirts, and briefs not for jeans, heavy job clothes or casual clothes laundry just damage some clothes unless it has control time
You only add enough water to really cover the clothing and for best results... use for small loads! It basically pushes the water/soap mixture through the clothing. My dang washer broke and I've been washing clothes in my tub until I can afford a washer and I personally rather use my hands to ensure they're being washed better! I have a son and boys get filthy lol! I like the idea of an agitator better which my hands obviously will do a better job than this breathing washer thing lol! I don't mind the hand washing.... it's the ringing out that I hate!!
Not hard to move at all IF you have enough water in the bucket. I'm 61 and my muscles are not what they used to be. Once the water kevel is high enough that plunger moves effortlessly. I get OCD and over do it.
I love how the guy thinks he knows what he’s talking about.🙄 He also thinks he knows enough to criticize and critique her and how she’s filming it and how she’s doing it. Keep in mind she is the one doing all of the work. Also, I find that people who are more humble or actually the wiser people, not the braggarts.
@@Twelvefourtyseven what i mean is i used to live in a van and tried every alternative i could think of but nothing beats a washer. only decent kind is the sink adapter washers you can hook up to a sink. Hence why no solution when youre broke except laundromats with sketchy people, unless you go to a laundromat near a wealthy neighborhood or near a college campus.
Ignoring the unnecessary criticism you did a great job ❤️. You sold me. I'm going to get it.
The gentleman doesn’t realize it’s the pressure of the water moving thru the fabric that does the cleaning. Agitation is not required.
If i talked to my wife like that, she’d be gone in half a heartbeat.
Good job dude you took one thing out and it worked. did you have fun making sure you were telling her she was doing it wrong?

Cool, sounds like you came up with a great system.

Have some confidence in your lady she did a fine job.
Get rid of the man and keep the plunger. You did well.
That guy just came in and stole her thunder! I liked her back and forth method. Much more efficient.

Yes, much easier once thete is adequate water.I get carried away. I find it kind of relaxing.
Since outside, you should use ECOS laundry detergent. 😊

It's called a learning experience. He needs to stop critiquing her. A man who thinks he knows it all shocking

nice vid. -1 for shameless dumping of greywater in the wilderness. That should be packed out brah...or use enviro safe laundry detergent

Thanks for your review - Breathing Mobile Washer
Clothes moving in and out of the water is what cleans the clothes. I think a wider bucket would help.

Dump Mr know-it-all and get a portable washer 😁 We only have one life to enjoy ❤️

No Names Soaking is best😊
$19.95!!! This thing is currently $51.99 on Amazon!😭
Great video. Thanks so much!
I see you guys. AWESOME!!!!
And that guy had no clue what he was doing. I would have told him to get the heck away from me!
Gets your exercise too. Rinsing seems like it will be some work and use a lot of clean water.
This dude needs to show his wife a little more respect.
That guy needs to shut TF up. Absolutely annoying and did not help at all. What he did did not actually clean the clothes.

I have and use the same system and it works well for me!
If you put the dirty bottom bucket on clean clothes, wouldn’t the clean clothes have mud on it?
Thanks for your video. How do I look for this product on Amazon?
ANGELICO RIVERO EL CRAVIOTO - Type in the Amazon search engine “Breathing Mobile Washer”.... that’s how I found it.
let's give it up to professor know it all. how about let your lady finish her video. and you find some where and sit down.
Use a 32 gal trash can and fill it 1/2 way to allow the clothes room in the can.
useful demo. Might work better in a much larger tub.
Stick some 2 x 4 or small chunks of clean wood or plastic on top of the clothes before you try to squeeze them with the buckets
Great idea for these folks!
Where can I buy a breathing washer from someone? Please it's really important
She is capable of so much trust her

With the plunger , however, you need enough water or it is hard to move the clothing. Fill it until the plunger moves almost effortlessly.
He is really bossy!
Go to the bathroom in the bucket with your clothes 😂
just get a regular ol toilet plunger at the dallor store or do it by hand.
Isn't that something? In public🤔
Actually, a plunger from Dollar Tree with about a dozen 5/8 inch holes in it works better.
Ty for the input
I tried a new plunger from Wal-Mart. I couldn't stand the strong rubber smell.
Actually I found this works considerably better.
The plunger with drilled holes just shoots out water from the top. The design on this forces the water back down and not your face or floor.
Drink the water from the bucket ha ha
I ve used it and it is barely efficient if any. No competition to real washing machine.

bucket to small. get tub from fred myer
Put the bucket of water over yourself
Don’t put so much stuff
🙄
proper mansplaining right there. she then understood.
Step one for successful washing: Don't be poor.
What is your problem? That’s some serious $$$ karma about to come your way.
