This is absolutely lovely. So precious. I love your water coloring. I’ve had so much fun watching your water coloring videos as I’m trying to learn. I’m learning a lot from you. I have to say I’ve loved your work for quite a while. Thank you
What a darling little baby elephant! And your tutorial on no line coloring was so clear I think anyone could follow along and have success... Just a note / tip for those who are not familiar with masking fluids. Be sure to read YOUR brands instructions.. as some do no play nice with heat.. :) ....... Thanks for another in a LONG list of great videos !! : ]
The elephant turned out so cute & cuddly. Everything about this card screams kid. But I even I would love to receive it at the ripe ol' age of 53. It's just so darn cute ❤❤❤
When you said that it reminded you of children's illustrations in books, I was thinking the very same thing. This was such a sweet image and card. I really do love the Mama Elephant stamps. Thanks.!!
This stamp is adorable and I appreciated all the great tips about no line coloring. I keep wanting to try it, but haven’t been brave enough. Now I feel like I can give it a go.
I love it!! I used to use embossing ink pad but this ink looks better and I do have it but very rarely I use it. I think that will change. Thanks for sharing this video.
I love this card. Thanks so much for sharing. I have always admired this technique, and am now inspired to try it myself. Your video has made it easy to understand the technique.
Love it... I have a question for you... when I’m watercoloring, as it’s drying, the watercolor is developing a darker line or an edge - not where I want it... not sure if you know what I mean... like instead of this soft flowing color, I have lines or edges of color making it look weird. Using Canson watercolor paper.
Try wetting the watercolor paper beyond the are you are painting. When I did the background around the elephant and ballon, I wet the entire sheet. But I only painted the center area. It needs to be wet so the edges will soften.
So cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you prevent the brush from gumming up after dipping it in liquid gum? I can't use my brush any more after using it with liquid gum...
Put a drop of liquid soap (like dish soap) on the brush before you use it. Rub the soap into the bristles to coat them. The soap helps the masking fluid “slide” off the brush and it doesn’t interfere with any of the masking so no worries there.
Completely and utterly ADORABLE! Just like a kid's story book! ♥
I agree--it does look like a children's book illustration! You did a fantastic job coloring it, too, Kristina. Love the soft look you achieved. :)

How do you decide when to use a liquid masking vs masking tape?
I love your no-line coloring videos. They’re some of my favorites!
I only use masking tape when I need a sharp line or to hold the paper to a hardboard.
Cute card

What is the tool (eraser) you’re using to take off masking gum? TIA
A Xyron adhesive eraser
