Don't worry about not putting up a video or not doing all the vlogmas videos. You have to have time to spend with family and friends. Vlogmas videos take up a lot of your time. I imagine it would slow down your sewing. I enjoyed this video. I am currently making two tablecloths for my son's kitchen table. After that I am going to start making a caftan. Last night I started loading my patterns into Trello. This will be a fast way of looking through my patterns. Keep sewing.
Hi Vanessa! You are so generous to make tablecloths for your son! Which caftan pattern are you making?? I LOVE having my patterns in Trello. I need to go through and make sure I am up to date :). HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hi Michelle, so happy to see you. If you think about it you sort of did a Vlogmas in September. That's a lot of posting. No wonder December was a bit much. The jacket you made for your sister in law turned out great. So pretty. I love your planner. The pages look simple to fill in and very doable. I am so happy that you found some great friends nearby and it's awesome that they sew as well. I moved just before Covid so I am still working on finding friends that sew. It's nice to have this sewing community online. I kind of feel like you all are my new friends. I can't wait to see your new makes in the coming year. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.
Hi Carol - yes, I did kind of do a vlogmas in Sept haha! I'm lucky that I have my sewing friends so close! I wonder if you check with your local fabric shop, maybe they have some get togethers?? Or even your local library?? Good luck finding some local sewing buddies !! Thanks so much for watching and joining in the conversation!!
Hi Michelle, I love your fabric choices! Bold and beautiful. We had a quiet holiday too, and it was lovely. Ok. We have the same day to day uniform. I can’t imagine anything else. Lol. I also have a cricut that I bought with my son, and I have NEVER used it. I had good intentions. Maybe you will inspire me. Happy New Year! Hugs, Stephanie ❤
Yes we do have the same day to day uniform! Except you prefer knit tops and I prefer woven, otherwise - the SAME! Oh my gosh - I think you would do such amazing things with a Cricut! I hope you get it out and play with it soon!! Happy New Year Stephanie 😊
I’m always glad when you put out a video. I like that you are human. We all make plans that don’t always work out. I’m cutting out a Seamwork Lisa sweater.
Hi Lori! I have that Lisa sweater pattern as well. It's very similar to the Marlow Sweater that everyone makes. I can't wait to hear what you think about it!!
Happy New Year Michelle! Love the jacket for your sister! The neck warmers are beautiful. I have a Cricut Maker & need to learn to use it more. Would love to see your Cricut ideas. Beautiful sewing journal.
Happy New Year🎉🎉Missed your smiling face in December but TOTALLY understandable. I also failed on my make 9. I have decided to change it up and keep a white board with project ideas. Easy to update 🤣 when I tire of something. Wishing the three of you a healthy and happy 2023. 🎇🎆🧵🪡📍
i have a cricut (and a silhouette) but i've never tried drawing with it, just cutting my own planner stickers. i love that you shared a little of your journal with us.
Which machine do you prefer? I have been playing around with making cards as well. I want to make my husband some fun graphic tees. I already have 2 new makes to add to the journal for 2023. I've discovered that using cardstock makes the book really THICK! I'm going to switch to regular paper for this year to keep the bulk down.
@@MichelleSewsAgain i prefer the silhouette but it was my first machine so i might just be more familiar with it. i didn't really like the cricut software. if you are putting tip-ins in a bound book it can definitely get wonky pretty quickly. last year i was pasting regular printer paper calendars in my B6 stalogy and even that got a bit thick by the end of the year.
I will be excited to see what you’re making on your Circuit. I’m feel good about the things I made in 2022 because I’m wearing them most days now. Tops are my favorite thing to sew . I want to figure out an easy way to take pictures of myself wearing them and how to post them. I just finished my first flannel Shirt/jacket after following a sew along . I think it’s wonderful that you live so close the Carmen and Jen. The sewing community has helped me feel more connected to people . I’ve love learning new things, being creative. Love your channel
That's awesome that you've been wearing your makes! I'm hit or miss with mine. I tend to wear the same ones over and over...so I'm using that knowledge to help plan out my makes for this year 😊. Thanks for posting! I always consider your posts like a gift through youtube - I don't expect them... I certainly wouldn't demand them... but I smile when they show up. Oh gosh Diane - you are too kind!! Our Christmas was freezing as well! In the 30s. It was the coldest in decades I think they said. Oh no! A broken toe is no joke - I hope it heals quickly!! I hope you are feeling better soon xo
I agree, buying fabric because it's on sale isn't practical! I love your fur faux jacket, absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful scarves. I'm in love with the luxe fleece. I haven't sewn with it yet. But I've handled it in stores and it's absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing!

And finally when you were considering your 2023 makes, will you also talk about your plans for your channel this year as the numerous challenges that come up through our community will either enhance or derail our sewing for the year and how you are going to handle that? There's so much out there that it causes chaos in me if I can't plan around what's coming up. So what are you going to collaborate on or organize on your channel this year if you know? Thanks for all your efforts in doing this, I look forward to watching!
Hi Barbara! Happy 2023 to you as well 😀. Thanks for all your questions! I am working on a 2023 "plans" video that I will post soon. You've given me some great questions to answer that I hadn't considered!!

I have been holding back working with it till I finish my Christmas gifts and things that I need to complete. How fun! I think you are going to have so much fun with your Cricut! Find some good YT'ers and you will be so inspired!! I'm so excited that you've tried ice dyeing!! Isn't it a fun way to explore your creativity??
Your makes journal has inspired me to do something similar to document my makes. Catching up with you and Jen was wonderful! Looking forward to 2023. The best is yet to come!
The makes journal is going to be something I keep up I think. I love being able to flip through and see what I've made and also to have the "notes" handy at a glance if I want to make something again! HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAR FRIEND!!
Love your journal template, looks great! WIll you share your finished journal, would love to see how it turns out! Our Christmas and New Years were lowkey, spent with family just chillin.
You inspire me. I'm inspired to get a Cricut now! And I'm inspired to think about what I really want to accomplish this year. Can't wait to see what you make from that ITY - it's SOOOOO drapey, it'll look fantastic whatever you make. Love you! xoxoxox
I can't even begin to imagine how creative YOU will be if you get a Cricut! I can't wait to use that ITY - it's going to make such a fun springy/summery top! Love you back!! xo
I love your journal idea! You will enjoy flipping through that for years to come. Im excited to see your fabric that I gave you, transformed into something beautiful. I’m so jelly that you got to have lunch with the girls. I’m really looking forward to us all getting together for the expo.
I love my journal so much! I already have 2 new things to add!! I'm looking forward to the expo as well but we're planning a trip to Mood in Miami, maybe Feb? So I hope to see you then??
What a beautiful story about your luncheon with Jen and Carmen on how they’ve been a positive influence for you. They are both beautiful and positive ladies, and I personally know what it’s like to have friends who are positive in my life as well it’s awesome, and I feel so blessed. I totally love your recent makes. Especially the scarfs, and neck warmers. 👍👍can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2023! 🎉😊 Happy New Year!

How fun! I think you are going to have so much fun with your Cricut! Find some good YT'ers and you will be so inspired!! I'm so excited that you've tried ice dyeing!! Isn't it a fun way to explore your creativity??
Love your journal
Thank you!! It was very satisfying to put together!!
💜💜💜
Your makes journal has inspired me to do something similar to document my makes. Catching up with you and Jen was wonderful! Looking forward to 2023. The best is yet to come!
The makes journal is going to be something I keep up I think. I love being able to flip through and see what I've made and also to have the "notes" handy at a glance if I want to make something again! HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAR FRIEND!!
Yay, you’re back!! I missed seeing you and hearing about sewing, crafts, and life. Happy New Year!
Happy new year!! 😊😊😊
Love your journal template, looks great! WIll you share your finished journal, would love to see how it turns out! Our Christmas and New Years were lowkey, spent with family just chillin.
Yes, I will definitely share the journal once I finish getting everything in there! Lowkey holidays are the best, aren't they?

Too many fireworks 🎇 this past New Years
Aww, that's a shame. I don't feel like we saw enough! They were all so far away from us I was bummed 🤷♀️
Happy New Year! Aren't sewing friends the best?!?1. I hope 2023 is a fabulous year for you!!
You are the only person I’ve ever seen that rocks orange…it’s a hard colour to wear. Most people look sickly in orange but you glow. Envious here.
Oh wow - what a nice thing to say! Thank you! 💕
Happy new year 🎉 vlogmas is hard on precious time before Christmas. . Even for subscribers to watch. I chose not to follow any vlogmas this year. Maybe extend the Friday sews in December to a weekly Christmas edition.🤔
Happy New Year Hermine! It was definitely hard to keep up with vlogmas, even as a viewer!!
