One other thing worth noting about Crocodile's bounty is that the World Government didn't know the full extent of how dangerous he was when they offered him the Warlord position. I think it was in an SBS, but Oda has confirmed that if the World Government knew that Crocodile was the leader of an organization the size of Baroque Works when he still had an active bounty, that added influence would've put his bouty over 100 million. Like, I think it was somewhere in the 120 to 150 million range.

fun fact: whitebeard's name is both correct and incorrect. in japanese, his name is "shirohege". "shiro" means white while "hege" means facial hair. hege is a catchall term for facial: beards, mustaches, sideburns, goatees and beards are all "hege". so his name translates to "white facial hair". when asked about this, oda said that his name is suppose to be whitebeard.

It’s like trying to turn them from “haters” to actual fans. That’s kind of the point of the series. They enjoy certain moments, but I wouldn’t call them fans of the series. I think the haters gets us less views lol, but it’s what we’ve had since the start. I’ve been thinking of scrapping it for a min, but I want to have the satisfaction of getting rid of it when they’re actually fans. No real hate here.
We’re watching One Pace, so I think it was a change they made which I thought was weird I think the first official mention was when Shanks met with whitebeard
@@JCTReact ahh gotcha. Things definitely seemed different. Though I know the word for willpower and ambition can both be translated to Haki so I think they took some liberties with the translation. I think originally he mentioned Luffys ambition or something so replacing that with Haki makes sense in hindsight.
@@barban534 yes even the the word Gorosei which translates into 5 elder stars probably would be translated differently today knowing what we know (Spoilers) It could also be translated as 5 Elder Celestials (as in celestial bodies) or 5 Elder Planets. This is stuff even the translator wouldn’t know until years later and knowing things in hindsight. Literally every single word of dialogue and who says it in Onepiece is chosen for a reason. It’s crazy on rewatches and means you find out something new about the story every single time you revisit it.
