i will definitely get this book as son as i can afford it! I learned my lesson years ago. I was at Barnes & noble & the original was there for $20. Now it's impossible to find out outside of amazon or ebay for HUNDREDS of dollars. I was hoping they'd reprint it or digitize it some day.
To answer your "Abridged" question, yes you're right. I had to remove some older content and I didn't want fans to think this was just a stripped down re-released version of the original. But for everything I had to take out, I tried to put something new back in and that just kept getting bigger (100+ extra pages bigger in fact!). So KRC:AE ended up being shorter in some ways, longer in others! Literally had to rebuild the new manuscript to resemble the original one from the ground up! It's something new, yet familiar. I hope you enjoy this new edition as much as the older one, and thanks for the support!
Glad to hear it! Although this new release is called the "Abridged Edition", it's actually 100 pages bigger than the original book with even more new and updated content! I had to remove a lot of things from the first book such as the color and licensed press/promotional material, but for everything I had to take out, I wanted to put something new back in and had to rebuild the manuscript from the ground up. So technically it is shorter in some ways, and longer in others! This revised version is more of a personalized look at Knight Rider through my eyes as a fan compared to the first release, as well as through the experiences of many cast/crew I've met along the way who didn't make it into the first release. Filled to the brim with new artwork, personal photos, and useful information missing from the first edition. It is NOT just a re-release of the first KRC book, it is me getting everything out of the "Knight Rider" basement I wanted to include in the first book, but couldn't due to time constraints. To me, it is the most complete and accurate "The Knight Rider Companion" will ever get. I'm immensely proud of it and I hope you enjoy it too. - Nick
@@KRCompanion Would you recommend getting the Knight Rider Legacy Unofficial Guide book as well or your Abridged edition contains the info that's in that one as well ?
Absolutely awesome Nick!!
