Miles looks like he’s having fun web swinging, which makes sense since he’s only been Spider-Man for a year. While Peter’s swinging looked more defined and precise after doing it for 8 years. I’m sure Peter had his fun when he was Miles’s age.
OR its just they did not put that much work in it since its the first game? now they know a lot of people will buy SM2 and I bet they will improve the swinging for Peter. Comments like these are super stupid for me

When Miles was dancing on beat at 1:44 that was wayy too damn fire. This vid was put together extremely well. I can tell from this video that you possess the exaggerated swagger of a black teen.
Peter is stronger in general and he's 8 years experience of being spiderman in his game now 9 plus I think Peters spider gives him more strength in the comics since miles spider has additional abilities

If you check out Peter's hand and miles hand and 1:00 exactly, it'll actually tell you a little bit about how the characters feel when they're doing what they're doing. Peter's hand when he lands is all kind of relaxed and swaying with the motion of his body landing, miles seems to be holding his hand in more an empty clutch as if he's still holding on to his web, fingers all splayed open likes he's ready to grab the next thing.
I love swinging in both games, only main difference I see is that Peter developed more speed while swinging due to his more experience while miles swinging is slower because of the unique style, which makes sense he’s still learning how to master his abilities and I like this a lot.
I don't remember the channel but someone in the comments says Spiderman ps4 used to do tricks like Miles did in the new Spiderman game then Peter became older and became matured so thats explained why in Spiderman ps4 Peter can't do that much tricks other than spinning and back flipping in the air
@@ZephyrGhost Or maybe developers didn't focus on making air tricks at the time they were developing the game. They added it to Miles Morales to have gameplay variety

Their both the ultimate Spider-Man since they’re both in the ultimate Spider-Man comics and both were in the ultimate Spider-Man tv show. Peter was one of the first heroes that started the ultimate universe, if not the one hero that started the ultimate universe. Ultimate peter’s death was basically the whole reason why Miles was brought into the ultimate universe in the first place. With all the facts about Peter’s connection to the ultimate universe with the additions of one more fact about him being the main character in the ultimate Spider-Man videogame, I say that their both the ultimate Spider-Man.
Peter actually has more variety with his gadgets and finishers when it comes to combat which gives you the opportunity to strategize a lot more in combat. With miles it's heavily relied on his op venom blasts and invisibility.
@@knightghost1782 I guess with Miles,is in a way he is inexperienced and clumsy,so playing the game with him is a lot harder than Peter's.Peter is experienced and stronger and faster than Miles in both agility and combat,so he's easier to play it.But I guess it kinda makes sense,since just like you said,Miles relies heavily with Venom Blast and Invisiblity,so having himself to fight with the absense of both of this powers,is like an almost to no chance of winning.
I like that they have different styles miles swinging is flashy because hes relatively knew to being spiderman so hes having fun with it, while pete's been doing it for years so his swinging is more chilled and just for getting places
Amazing comparison video. Amount of Effort and patience to have the matching movesets and camera angles... I was on the cusp of installing the Miles Morales animations as Mods for Spider-Man Remastered. I tihnk I will leave it alone as it makes more sense to have a slightly jaded/refined Peter Spider-Man, as others have said - the first year as Spidey he was probably having a lot more agile Tricking and fun (kind of like Tom Holland's Spiderman vs Tobey Mcguire)... different.
I mean, my guy has been doing this for 8 years while Miles has been doing it for a Year. I like to compare it to how when someone starts playing a Sport next to someone that's been doing it for a long time

I played miles morales on launch and I just started playing Spider-Man ps5 for the first time. Miles morales definitely has better web slinging but so far Spider-Man’s story seems a lot better.
So I'm curious to how many runs it took to get this footage lined up perfectly? Serious kudos to the creator of this video. One of the best I've seen when it comes to lining up gameplay shot for shot on two different games. It is nearly identical in timing of the swings and movement.
same here. It's so perfect that I have to assume the controls were a TAS related type of thing, and if they weren't then this person must be a god. The creator really did his due diligence working on this in the video editing alone, and I don't think I've seen any other comparison video as well made as this was. Nothing but respect for their work.
I know they reused Peter’s animations b/c it’s the most efficient thing to do but it’s so cool that they still took the time to make a lot of unique animations for Miles to differentiate the two.
Miles has considerable less vertical than Peter. I think thats rich knowing the average brother is dominant in vert over your run-of-the-mill good ole boy.
Played the first one right when it came out and most fun I’ve ever had such a feel good cozy vibe as spider man and miles with the Christmas vibes finished it off for me both are great games
personally love the spider-man PS4/5 better.. the world and peter himself but the swinging and tricks and overall animations in miles' game is so much more fluid and more comic-esque.. they did it so well, waiting for a mod on PC where they add the animation in to blend the two together it'll be so much fun!!
Miles's swinging is a lot more expressive. Peter's, on the other hand is a lot more streamline but he still performs acrobatics mid air too, just to keep things interesting.
The swinging trajectory in miles morales is directed more upwards after the first half of the swing. Peter's goes for longer and forward. Try going over buildings in both games to notice this more.
On ps4 Miles morales feels like it has better physics than the original game…I just played both back to back and I like the swinging better as miles I don’t know if it’s because there’s more fluidity to his movements compared to the first game…there’s a lack of flashiness to Pete’s swinging in my opinion. Hopefully they’ll tweak it for the 2nd game.
The details is nice Miles is younger and just got his powers so his swinging is a lot more stylish and cool like but also has a few similarities to Peter's movements so it feels like he taught him

I've realized that miles max jump is not even close to peter they both have enhanced strength in their legs but Peter is stronger in the legs

I little more sharpness and a changed filter. Not much changed, but the idea of it being new makes people see things where there aren’t any.
I prefer almost everything in the 2018 spiderman, but damn miles morales has such an improved flow and variation
