We are so back long live the golden knight garo also I’ll be a little controversial and say ruyga was my first garo and my favorite timeline in the franchise (oh yeah hawkilles this series runs on vibes and multiple garo user timelines) so I’m just ultimately glad that there doing more or less a “back to basics” approach for the new armor show so if this is your first time with ruyga your pretty much getting peak him in this era anyway awesome video as always hawkilles
HAGANE is also the title of a SNES video game that Keita Amemiya does the design and artwork for, featuring a main character whose appearance is not that far from the knights in GAROverse
Garo was MIA because of the pandemic, the core sponsor Sansei R&D is a pachinko company and as you can imagine, they didn’t make any money in the ensuing chaos so no moolah means no funds for a new series. Now that things are normal again, Keita-san can put his Switch down and go back to supervising his baby, Arcade Daddy Sansei can cash those checks and the staff at TFC gives us more urban gothic doggo warriors slaying demons.
I’ve avoided Garo, for much of the aforementioned reasons. Just didn’t really see it in the family of traditional tokusatsu. The “black” sheep if you will…. But thanks to your video, this new series is in my rotation! And I guess I can dip my toes into older series. The only exposure I’ve had is to the anime a few years back. The first two I thought were good. But now I kinda see why some reviews/commenters didn’t like them as much. Welcome Garo, back into the light.

I know its off topic but you should do a another or second rider suit tier list since you’ve already done main riders (yes all of ryuki’s second riders)
Dougai Ryuuga is hands down my favoriye weilder of Garo out of all of thwm. And yes even Jinga!!! Do nit get me wrong it was good but to me Jinga is more suited as a villain/ anti hero than dawn the Garo armour and who was it that gave him a run for his money? This guy!!! I have followed Ryuuga all though out from The light that shines into darkness, Gold storm and Gold storm SHO!!! All 3 series are his storu ND i LOVE THAT!!! I will definitely watch this one too. Jon sena from Vs road needs to grow further if he wants to be on tjhe level of this guy. Of course Jinga can return as well as from his own series Jinga the horror resurfaced again. Who better way to put an end to him than Dougai Ryuuga himself? Their fight deserves another round.
Reminds me of the first half of Kabuto, where it was dark, the action was top-tier, and the main hero was a badass and _he knew it._
Ryuga was clearly channeling his inner Jinga in the first fight. That level of drip was uncalled for, sir! It's only episode 1! LOL

Seasons 1 and 2 are still the peak of the series for me.

Watch Yami no terasu mono, you will appreciate Ryuga’s growth as a Character
