My very first trip to Disney World was in 2015. I was 21 and over the moon to FINALLY be going to Disney! We arrived at the All Star Movie Resort but were told there was an issue with our booking and they were getting a manager. My mom and I were panicking. But it was nothing bad! We were getting pixie dusted! We were bring upgraded to Saratoga Spring! Such a different atmosphere but we loved it! Especially at the All Star price!
For my family, it's always been about location. Like AJ keeps saying, time is money at Disney, and time spent getting to the theme parks is no exception! Also love to stay somewhere where it's easier to get back to the resort for a break in the middle of the day.
I coincidentky stumbled on to a DFB video a few weeks ago and have been a fan ever since. I watch your videos every day and not only do I enjoy the topices on the DFB videos, but I enjoy AJ's talks very much! I live in Japan and am planning a far off visit (in 2026) toDisney World. If by any chance you could do a video for international guests it would be much appreciated. There are many vlogs on the youtube by Japanese people, who have visited Disney World, but none that are like the DFB's videos. If you could do a video on how international guests could or should plan a visit, anything that we should consider throughly before going, what sort of services (such as Kroger, lyft, or uber) international guests can use, and about where it is possible to shop for Americanish things that are not Disney souveniers. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my request. I look forward all future DFB videos!
Love the garden rooms at Contemporary. Our favorite!!! We find getting to Magic Kingdom a pain. So we can walk there and eat good food at the hotel. Fireworks views are great too.
Best pixie dust I’ve ever gotten was getting upgraded from a mermaid suite to a cars suite for free. If I could send that cast member a Christmas card every year I would. Art of Animation is AWESOME!
We went to Disney in mid Sept this yr. We were booked @ All Star Sports & 2 weeks before our trip - got a phone call with a complimentary upgrade to a Cars Family Suite - our original rate was $154 - so that is what we paid!! We loved having access to the skyliner & having 2 bathrooms was great!!
Surprised for the "best" hotel, they didn't mention "split stays." So you could be at the "best" hotel for location for a couple days, e.g., Skyliner hotel for access to EPCOT and HS, and then finish off at AK lodge for AK and resort day.
Which hotels would be best for disabled guests? Yes, I know that every hotel has handicapped rooms but other things matter too when you're in a wheelchair. Distance to transportation, layout, accessibility to amenities, things like that all matter greatly.
Would really love an updated Swan and Dolphin restaurant overview! Visiting in Feb and having a much harder time finding good Swan and Dolphin info. Thanks!
Staying at Walt Disney Swan Reserve in December!! No kids just my lady and I. Hotel looks perfect for adults and looks modern which we both like. First time going to Walt Disney world 🎊 🎉
I agree I stayed there back in 2022 during Disney’s 50th anniversary celebration 🥳 and it was the absolute best time of my life love 💕 that resort so much 😊
Why are there announcements for pool closures, but Disney hasn't said anything about a skyliner closure for 2025? I'm getting stressed as I'm getting closer to my dining reservation date. Should I plan on being in Epcot at the beginning of my trip or the end or does it not matter? I wish I knew!
For the past few years, the Skyliner usually has some sort of week-long closure towards the end of January for maintenance. We haven’t heard if that’s gonna be the case again or not in 2025, but we’ll let you know if/when we hear more!
I vote no on the early theme park entry acronym. I love and appreciate DFB, but too many acronyms are confusing and sometimes feel like I need a legend to remember what the acronyms are for😂
May I ask you all a question please? Is it possible to transfer a Swan/dolphin Hotel reservation via the Marriot App into the Disney World App (especially for dining reservation matters) ? Than you very much
Beach Club got renovated rooms? Really? Not the one we were in in September of this year. In room 4602, in the lobby wing. Not only had it not been renovated, it was probably the worst room we've stayed in after 11 Disneyworld trips, INCLUDING stays at value resorts. Half the electrical plugs didn't work, the furniture looked to be from the 90's and had the wear to show for it. But the worst was the baseboard molding in the bathroom and sink area. It looked like there had been a flood at some time, as the molding clearly had water damage that someone tried to cover up by simply squeezing compound all around the bottom without even bother to smooth it out. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom at some point had apparently been ripped off the wall and plugged back in with some putty and little paint, with no attempt to blend it in. This was what you'd expect to find in a Motel 6, not a deluxe Disney resort. Guess the renovations haven't got to this floor yet. Disney should be ashamed of itself. If we ever go back to Disneyworld, it for sure will not be to the Beach Club.
Can we just say everything normally and not shorten everything via abbreviation or acronym? I was going to say I’m just getting too old for this, but I’m not even that old. 😂

My best Disney hotel for 2025 is one that floats and moves about the ocean.

Staying at Wilderness lodge for 2 weeks in January and I’m so excited
My family looooved wilderness lodge! Hope you have a wonderful time
Not going to lie. I feel a little disappointed that all the hotels are getting this modern look. Almost feels like it's losing something special
I thought for sure you would have done a pools or amenities section that’s a heavy consideration for our family on rest days.

Love all your tips 🤍
They all have their certain charms! 🥂🎩🖤
For my family we prefer to stay on the skyliner route. We have stayed at Pop and Carribean Beach. Carribean beach was our favorite.❤
The Skyliner is a game-changer, for sure!
Dolphin is the best hotel for all the perks plus Marriott points. And the suites are epic.
I’m staying at All Star Sports next Aug/Sep and it was pretty affordable!
Could you guys do an updated drinking around the world video? Also, could you do a best off property hotel video?
Would really love an updated Swan and Dolphin restaurant overview! Visiting in Feb and having a much harder time finding good Swan and Dolphin info. Thanks!
As soon as AJs voice plays 📝📝

The best one is Grand Florida I’ve been there it’s AMAZING 🤩
I would LOVE one of these once all the hotels open in Universal!
Stayed at Boardwalk 1 room villa last Oct and it was perfect. Recently renovated and was beautiful
Coronado Springs is the best 🙌🏻
I agree I stayed there back in 2022 during Disney’s 50th anniversary celebration 🥳 and it was the absolute best time of my life love 💕 that resort so much 😊
My family and I love and always stay at the wilderness lodge .We tried the family suites at the Art of animation. We liked those rooms too.
I am staying at the shades of green going for 10 days
do a disney holiday guide for this year that would be super helpful!
Guide for couples please! 🥺
I wonder if Disney cruise line has come up with any names for the new Disney cruise ships coming so excited for that
Early theme park entry has nothing on extended magic hours you get with deluxe and beyond resorts

I doubt it since it’s Marriott
Favorite Good Neighbor hotel stays in WDW?
So all the rooms in the Port Orleans Frenh Quarter will be renovated by 2025?
it feels criminal to be this early
🚔🚨
🎉
Isn’t the strawberry soup just drinkable yogurt?
ETPE? Does that stand for E.T. Phone Everyone?
Have you done a video on handicapped accessibility? What Disney thinks is accessible is not.
Garden Wing is right next to pool area and you can watch Electrical Water Pageant. Just walk over to main building for Monorail and watch fireworks
Not so keen on magic carpet; aerial area rug on the other hand…
NOT "ETPE!" Waaaay to many abbreviations already! 🤮😂
Noice.
