Hi, tysm! This video was extremely helpful! Also I gave one of my characters rocket shoes aka shadows shoes but recolored but the character is a wolf not a hedgehog so is that weird or unoriginal? It’s only thing I have that related to shadow also shadow isn’t my first favorite I just liked the shoes with the character

Hi! And I’m so glad you found this video helpful! And about the Shadow rocket shoes recolor thing, it’s completely fine to start out like that! And it’s also normal to take inspiration from already existing characters, but you don’t want to just re-color a distinct part of a very popular character and make that a permanent part of your character. What I would advise you to do is you can leave the shoes as they are for now, and in the mean time, try and look up references on Google for rocket show designs, to make your character feel more original :)

Giving a character powers is actually a common thing to do, if you have trouble coming up with a power, try looking up some powers on Google, that helps me :)
