Would love a Brod & Taylor proofer but very good alternative. Thanks
@TEL1415 Great product 👌
I bought the Brod and Taylor during lockdown, was expensive but I have used it three times a week ever since. Also bought the extra wire tray so I can prove two pizzas at once. I love it, would buy another in a heartbeat if I broke it. I did test it as a slow cooker, hopeless, the food did not cook, guess it was not hot enough or did not retain the heat enough. And I get much better yoghurt results from my Duronic yoghurt maker. The Brod is really worth having for just the proving thougn, and folds away small, just perfect.
I was thinking that as a prover game over, but I thought that as a slow cooker, maybe problems. Thanks for letting me know what you have found 😊 🙂 laters Steve
Good honest review Steve, thanks mate!
Thank you 😊
Thank you for this review :)
Your welcome 😀
A nice bit of kit the Brod one. Worth the money for me just for the fact that it folds away as I do not live in a mansion! Plus it does so much more than proof the bread: yogurt, kombucha etc and it can be a slow cooker too!
I've just "upgraded" my proofer - may have to bin it and get one of these!
PS Steve - your eBay link above is dead.
link is dead 💀 😪 no it's should have been removed with the 300 others, I will get back to it sometime 😉 😀 Most people just want a proofer, if you get one don't forget the extras, I have upgraded my 1 for 2 now 🤣🤣
interesting , i remember the proofers in the bakery that i worked in just a cabinet with a gas ring and a bowl of water but it worked great except when it run dry lol
Funny thing is my bakery has the same thing now, gas bottles are great but now dam expensive 🙃 😅
I’ve got garden heat pads! Nice!
So easy to use 😀
@@crazybaker1 only use them for two months now, more use more value.
so the reptile heat pad gets warm enough to boil water ?
it heat up to 35c which is just right for a small box for 2 small trays or tins, boiling is far to hot and wet 😀
5:46 can you use to boil rice
To be honest, I have never used it for anything apart from proofing dough 🙂
So whot do oyyy think.
Very expensive product for what you get
