    💡Idea I’ve been doing this a wile and have done walls as high as 24 ft. That 2 x 4 holding that form up on the inside of the wall never gets taken out in time and have to snap it off and it leaves a void. Why not a 4’ pice of metal stud ? Cut it off with a saws all later ? I never tried it but I have a 6 ft high wall I’m going to do soon and I’m going for it .

    If your doing these types of walls very often, you need to buy a used set of symons panels or at least rent them. The cost of wood for this one job would pay for a quarter of tge cost of the panels. You could set this wall in and pour it in 2 days. Your doing a beautiful job. What kind a ties are you using? Oh i see, button head tied with shoes.

      @@AllAccessConstruction the look is one thing, but mono pours are easy with them. I've poured with them for over 30 years. If I can help you in any direction, I'm happy too. Your work looks awesome. Even your bar tying is almost perfect 👍🇺🇸. What state are you in

      @@AllAccessConstruction I'll look through some old pics. Depending on the wall height, you can use rebar or anything steel. Tubing ECT. If it's a house foundation, you can even use wood stakes to cross the footing to hold up the panels. The misconception is that your hold a lot of weight. The concrete holds it's self up. Your only trying to hold up the weight of the panels. Symons ,you can also strip in multiple panel sections. So if you have a tractor around, you can leave multiple panels hooked together and strip them and swing em over and reset them. Fast. Ties are cheaper than button heads too. Once you buy a set, there yours. I'm in Idaho.

    • @CybekCusal
      @CybekCusal Год назад +1

      @@AllAccessConstruction sorry column is an engineering term for pressure formed by a vertical liquid. Do you need to use accelerator to make sure it sets up before it flows through the open footing? I'm thinking of doing a monopour foundation but most people do the footing first to make sure it's set before placing the vertical load on it.

    • @AllAccessConstruction
      @AllAccessConstruction  Год назад

      When we pour monolithic we start with the footing and go from one end to the other.. About time we come back around we start with the wall. We use a six sac pea gravel with a 4 inch slump
