1980 I got a set of leathers from Kenny Roberts SR they were red and black with diamond pattern on the thigh area along with a pair of red and blue Scott boots I will never forget that day as a 13 year old teen starting to race dirt bikes my first bike was a Kawasaki KX 80 he has said the most important thing to know when racing is how to breathe and to look ahead of yourself on the track back then at the age of 13 I showed him some drawings of a motor cross bike with a front swing arm
Yeah, he explained it in his book too. I hope you could have raised your speed and success due to his kind (kinG) advices... Still own the gears? Cheers AB
Smokers where the best days of motorcycle racing, 500gp & 250gp. Mad Max Biaggi won his first 500 gp race on a non factory Honda his American mechanic Evr Kanemoto. Max also won four 250gp championships.
Juste l'allumage ! Bravo 👏 le King 👑 ! Phil 🇨🇵. Gsxr 1000 r. 2018 Originslimited n 14.
Once it warms up u dont have to ask it to lift the front just be ready for it...i raced a 86 FZ 750...stock...an although it was superfast...it didnt pick the frint up like today production race bikes that u buy now...peace thanks for letting me smell the maxima injector oil an sample the cam 2...or VP fuels
FZ750 rocks. I have an FZ750/1000. I raced it in Production class in 1985, when it was stock. The FZR1000 engine went in later. That moved it into the Premier League, brother. I raced in eastern Canada and the northeast US. Where did you race?
I dont think kenny rode waynes 500 he was the team manager for yamaha marboro i had forgotten till i watched wayne ride goodwood..on his ole pal yzr...an kenny was following..then i remembered kenny was the team boss then...its good to see kenny even he is humble...i have a pro go kart an it dont start moving till 5000 rpm then at 6500 the power band says something like yippie kiyay but wayne was saying his yzr that kenny just went by dont come on till 8000 ot 8500 rpm...then it goes to 12000 an like my kart...200 hp an a 3500 rpm window...kenny was saying great it was to ride...again till he got out there an remembered how fast it can go an how much attention it takes to focus..he was thinking oh shit do i really want to do this...the big thing is tricky just as a 2 stroke is warming up...that is where a moment can come where all ur fitness mite have a use...all those days jogging an weight training...in motocross where in dirt spinning the tire all day...i loved riad racing because now i have traction...u vill lose...i just have to ride..i was taking it easy warming up my rotax kart an it woke up an tried to leave the track while my hand was one my visor...i dont do that anymore...going slow around a long curve...wtf
I want to ride like that when im his age. Popping wheelies out of corners on the straight at 70. Hey i might walk slow but i would walk all over you on a track kid
I met Kenny at a charity event for Gary Cowan in the 90s. A true gentleman and motorcycle god.
Kenny is what 70 now? Good on em for riding balls out like that. What a legend.
King Kenny,70 years old and still fast!
He’s making performance pipes for 2 strokes now I think. Dude knows his shit.
no one like him
No electronics just how it should be 😁👍
Sweet sound and dream machines.
Looks good and the sound of a two-stroke 😊
Two strokes make an annoying ear-drilling insect sound. But they sure crank out the power.
@@rcnelson 4 strokes make a annoying sound.
Yes. *Awesome buzz-bombs!*
Kenny demonstrates why he is King.
King Kenny. Period.

Still wheelie . Jeez. Hands down to king Robert
Very likely America's best all-around motorcycle racer.

Me in the 80s going back for more liquor.. lol
At least he got a chance to open them up unlike that awful car park that Honda use.
It's was said that there were 7 or 8 of the YZR 750 had Powervale installed on them not the TZ750

BEAUCOUP SIMPLE SUR UNE 500 YZR, QUE
SUR UN 750 OW31, DÉSOLÉ, RIDICULOUS 🤔
