man, resurrection is one of the coolest mods i've ever seen for a video game. even a little detail like using the mist raven attack animation after a stomp feels so right. using nightjar skills to deflect. mid-air grapples after deflecting a projectile. elden ring-esque guard counters with that satisfying sound. genichiro does an instant kick-counter after a mikiri, and in the lightning phase he rolls and recovers instead of staggering back. it all slots so seamlessly into the combat loop that i have no idea what a sekiro 2 could do that this mod doesn't already have.

im about 10 hours into the game, i was absolutely cooking during lady butterfly, but these damn miniboss generals are giving me so much trouble. ill spam attack, but instead of deflecting me and giving the sound/visual cue that its their turn, they'll just poise attack me through it??? i feel like i can do the bosses, but the minibosses and some enemies are wrecking my shit and still feels incredibly awkward. any tips? i want to love this game but i just rage quit a few hours ago on the general at the start of ashina castle...
@@blankbrim Never spam r1. You tap r1 once, every time, and you look to hit confirm every swing. You should never be hitting r1 again unless you have already seen what the enemy's reaction was
@@blankbrim I shouldn’t have said “spamming attacks” more so just doing your normal attack chain which is just the same button over and over again while waiting to see how the enemy responds. Some enemy’s will block continuously into a deflect while others will just super armor everything you do requiring less attacking and more reacting.
The only thing i see as non organic or lame is instant teleport with nightjar reversal following attacks or nightjar reversal into mikiri. It's like skipping frames and teleports player miles into enemy. And the nightjar itself now is way too long-ranged attack
These fights are so fun to watch. Love the skill on display, but also the attention to detail on the mod author's part, like the ashina-cross type draw Geni does at 3:12
Its never get boring no matter how many times i see Sekiro gameplay Especiall if its you WE BADLY NEED A SEQUEL or at least a game with Sekiro combat mechanic
