I bought one back in may and everything went great until I watched clear content with a lot of white: the right side of the screen has a very noticeable yellow tint. If you watch the same content, in both sides of the screen, it looks like 2 different monitors. It's unbearable. I paid like 1.000 dollars (in my country) so I returned it. For that ridiculous price, I won't stand such a thing. I read that most ultra-wide LG monitors have this uniformity problem. I wish I knew earlier. I don't recommend this monitor.

With built-in speakers? Can you turn it off if you want to use another set of speakers?
Yes, no problem. It also has an audio out so you can connect speakers to it and override the internal speakers.

I think as long as it’s IPS and 99% sRGB you are good! But with the 34” you’ll be good (GOOD)!!}
