I love the eCVT in my Rav4 XSE hybrid. No 6 speed automatic transmission for me. I have a Rav4 XSE Prime on order but I would settle for an SE. At the start of the video you mentioned that you didn't really care for the gloss black as you suspected it may fade with age. Well my 2020 Rav4 XSE hybrid has been through 3 long northern Ontario winters and the gloss black still looks like new (I do keep it as clean as possible during the winter months). As for the wind noise you mentioned during your drive that is caused by the roof rails. When you're not using them you should take them off which would reduce the wind noise considerably and you'd get a bit better gas mileage as well as those roof rails are fighting the wind constantly on the highway. I enjoyed your video.
I think the gloss black will fare better than the faded oxidized bare plastic that you get on the lower trim levels. I wonder about the longevity of the CVT transmission and hear it doesn’t feel like it shifts smoothly but I don’t have any experience with them personally. Hard not to pull the trigger on one of these with 94mpg. I don’t have solar so honestly it’s probably more economical to just but the gasoline engine. Looks like I have some more figuring to do I reckon.
Nice white color, but I agree the gloss black does not look good and will probably scratch easily even from a drive-through car wash. Great mileage combined. Wish all the vehicle manufactures would include a spare tire and not that fix-a-flat garbage. I think the price is fair. Seems to drive, brake and handle great.

Toyota is a great vehicle. But this Rav 4 model has way too many gloss black parts which isn't good at all.
