Here's more info on the lock tree on Franklin square. Made by the same welding class that made the horse on the square, the fork in the road, and all things along with the huge butter knife. Very gifted people working for that class. www.wnky.com/lock-tree-in-franklin-continues-to-hold-memories/
I went here last year in Thanksgiving because my sister lives in Portland and she unfortunately had a car wreck near the Walmart there and I went to the police station and the cops helped me get my keys out of the wrecked car and I appreciated their help. The biggest thing with living in Portland, TN is that you have to go to Franklin to go to the nearest Walmart. But other than that I thought overall my experience was okay. I definitely would like to move to Kentucky someday. It seems really relaxed but there are some things to see like horse racing and stuff like that. I always enjoy the countryside and the lifestyle.
