This was quite the experience for me. I enjoyed the band review a lot! The new location was excellent, considering it was a last minute decision beyond the control of the Arcadia folks. I'm a harsh critic of my work and today was not very good for me, filming-wise. My apologies for this. This was entirely my fault for not being there early enough to guide the cherry picker where I wanted it. I was too far out of the competition zone and my camera kept going out of focus. I'll make sure this won't happen next year. The silver lining is that there were many different angles and others shooting video, including the livestream. My good friend @MusicAmenities shot excellent video from his vantage point and he'll post all performances.
I loved the long view!!!!!
You captured the heart of this year’s band. Don’t be too hard on yourself. I too love the long view. But that sound is once again spectacular! Great job. ❤
I like that angle it shows the band play the whole march facing the camera honestly you should do the same next year
Personally i like that point of view
@@fjdbsjsjfnn5142 I’m with you on this!! Do it again next year!
Thankful that this grandma can view & enjoy this beautiful and well
Organized Arcadia Band!!!!

What a stunning performance, the best all year. I guess when you are not competing, and just roll with it they radiated confidence.
Such an amazing high school band. My conducting teacher and mentor in college, Mr. Lawrence Christianson, directed a band in that area back in the early 1960’s. He told me many, many stories of the Arcadia Band Parade Review.
Music213: You did an excellent job of videoing, I didn't notice any anomalies. Thanks for including the JV-Percussion at the end. I will post this for the Apache band members to watch. BTW this year the ArcHS Apache MB & CG got 2nd place in the field tournament at the Citrus College, Clendora CA with their field show "Searching for Serenity."
Are they marching the whole school? 😅 Sounds great. 👏🏽
I had to count them... if that were our local high school, I expect it'd take more than the entire student body from Grade 10-12,
@@jasongreek2342 Just saw this. 😂 They’ve always been huge.
if you think this is the whole student body, you should have seen them 10 ears ago. Over 450 members
Arcadia! 👏👏👏
Rewatching this in anticipation of the 2023 parade season. Diamond Bar is doing Army of the Nile.
👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
Wishing they would bring back the traditional Arcadia guard
