Yes it is a fuzz. I've also used an octaver, and some reverb to get that sound. The key here is to find the right amount of mix between the original guitar and the lower octave. Good luck learning this solo !

You could get a bass player and drummer but metronomes don't eat all your food and drink beer. I suggest you relax and make every piece of music your own. I watched a Movie about Mozart. Most of it focased on the musicians hands and their instruments. Totally beautifull. Then they bitched about how hard it was to play. Music is more art than science and more tbeatre than sheet notes. You have talent. The simple secret is practice. Jimi Hendrix started off playing a straw broom, couldn't read sheet music, but did ok. Pursue your interests, work on them.

Currently learning this solo, this was awesome! Do you use any pedals for it, it almost sounds like a fuzz pedal but i honestly have no idea lol
Yes it is a fuzz. I've also used an octaver, and some reverb to get that sound.
