Jordan “BBZ” Drummond has been a mainstay in the world of poker for over 15 years. He started playing poker in 2009 with $7, engaging in 10 cent 360 mans and 25 cent 45 mans, and impressively spun it up to $750k over the next five years by playing SNGs and grinding Supernova Elite four times. Simultaneously, he built a staking group that eventually included approximately 150 active players. Following the termination of SNE, Jordan focused on staking and coaching until 2019 when he began streaming. He played and streamed high-stakes MTTs for a year and a half to promote BBZPoker, a subscription-based coaching service, and obtained a sponsorship from partypoker, which he gave up when he decided to stop streaming full-time in 2021.
As a seasoned professional, Jordan has not only achieved sustained success in high-stakes poker but has also made a lasting impact as a staker, coach, and mentor. Jordan has a great way of breaking down a complex game into a simpler one that is much more easier to understand. As discussed in the video, learning the game by spot is really helpful.

Jordan makes content , stop everything and listen . If he’s not talking poker strategy his life strategies are just as valuable and will definitely increase your real life ev . Great to hear jungle genuinely ask questions on how his coaching works and great original questions . Must say I enjoyed this one a lot .
I had a coaching session with Jordan today. As expected it was high level type of coaching. I sent him my last 50k hands. We went through some filters as he described in the pod.
In 10 min we already had clear info on most reccurent spots.
His explantions were more than clear. He has a scientist approach based on facts and theory. The way he manipulates the different software is impressive.
More than words, I am jungle student, and hés the one that book me the session.
Instead of staying one hour, Jordan stayed 30min extra min.

I understand the easy-lazy path to seeing this man as a scammer/preying upon..../bla-blah, because this game brings a hard reality to any player (and most are losing). I think Jordan is an incredible asset for poker. Even as an inexperienced player, you can understand, to a degree, some complex concepts that he brings to the table and still realize the immensity of knowledge/hard work you need to have to beat poker games online nowadays. If you have an ounce of retrospection, you'll understand why and how you are losing... some will always look for an easy alternative.
It’s like working for a company. Companies have a competitive advantage against the individual because they were earlier, had more money, had more skills or whatever. So most people have to contribute to a company and they will get paid a fraction of what they make for the company. If you can start your own company or become a winning player without help, more power to you and good luck!
But why do you think he coaches and doesn't get rich playing poker himself?
Who says he isnt making money playing poker?
His skillset might not be 100% in playing alone, but in teaching and analyzing flaws in poker strategy, and he found a way to turn that into more money with less Volatility. He explained it in this interview as well. Somewhere around minute 45

I've always put poker off to pursue other business interests in my life, but no more, so I was glad to come across BBZ through watching Lex and Spraggy ect on Twitch & looking forward to watching this video. Idk why there are so many negative comments on this. Jordan dramatically changed my life for the better and he is the goat poker coach! He’s the furthest thing from a scam. Offers the highest level content for some of the lowest prices.

Whats to stop stakees just going off on their own once they start winning a lot?
Nothing
Yeah that's how the business works. You have to be careful because initially the best players who are doing well don't need stakes so you don't get applicants who are peaking. And the players you work with who do really well leave.. So it's very easy to be stuck with a pretty unprofitable stable of horses. But then like many other things if you work at it it can still work out nicely in spite of those things.
Jordan Drummond is such a legendary guest to have on. I could listen to him talk and share his knowledge all day long.

Totally agree with Jungle. In business I have been scammed multiple times with people that keep throwing "God Bless" and other religious/church comments in the conversation...much more than regular people. Now when I hear that in the conversation, I run away or take a very cautions approach. Sad but true!!
This is a good lesson. Often when I am scamming people I use these terms more. Should reign it in more to get a higher scam ROI

I first started playing the horses 🐎 at Bay Meadows around the time I played poker as kid. This coach said it’s easy to pick a winner 🏆 lol. It’s simple? Picking a horse with a bunch of data is easy? lol wow the balls on this scammer kid
Let me take my playing the horses analogy a bit higher with this poker coach. In 1997 at Bay Meadows horse racing track in Bay Area the track had genius horse players that were busted, fools that thought they knew horses and had insider info from the stables, data nerds that knew math and things that seemed to support trends etc etc and then fools that just did whatever seemed lucky. What’s different? Find the best horse players at the track and stake them, coach them? They did too much cocaine so you help them get more coke? This is fool shite

The goat coach for mtts and I’ve finished several courses from different companies. The way he structures thought process for NLH is incredible. Fuck the haters Jordan, you are taking coaching to a top professional level and you don’t need to fucking be a crusher for both to be a truth. I’ve meet straight card savants at this game who explain thought process as “I thought he it so I checked”
And why the fuck are they paying car lease for their horses. Don't even be p-laying at those stakes or playing poker at all if you cant do that.
It was an extreme example. When we stake players, we are fully invested in their success and sometimes these types of things are the best answer.

Jordan lacks any relevant results in the last 5 years, he plays very bad if you watch him play. But to each his own

1. He doesn't play bad at all. Find one hand he played poorly 2. More importantly, nobody cares how well Bellichek or Popovich, play football and basketball. The best coaches in a field are rarely the best players.
Jungle just doesn't look like he's loving it/buying it. Just demeanor and scratching head. Zoned out. Wonder how much he was paid for this one.
