Honestly based on experience, using joy on exp or mid is probably the better choice now because you can use utility spells like purify and vengeance and increase your survivability. And if I may suggest, try prioritizing building holy crystal before blood wings bcs it gives more magic power than blood wings and gets you the damage u need in early game.

if they removed cc immunity, they should not have reduced the ult dmg too but only removed the dmg decay.
its totally a nerf but still playable, she's not just that great as before.
we joy mains will just have to wait when her skin arrives, thats the time she will be buffed back
Had to remove ult damage, it's a balance to eliminate damag decay, just like they nerfed Harith's first skill for being faster. It's actually a valuavle reason.

if you use marksman and encounter enemy joy, you will understand why they have to nerf this hero.. cc immunity is op dont be one sided boi

This is such a huge nerf... that I just don't understand what the thinking is. Someone didn't like playing against this hero obviously.
The dmg on ult not being front loaded means I have to stick on them for as much of the duration as possible AND now it is hard as fuck to do that since any and all cc is just a killer to this champion. Can't risk dashing into champs with cc or you miss a beat and ult is weak... can't risk charging ult up on the side to dive in with ult now either since you lose damage potential and will probably just be cc'd off. Feels like my only options are constantly stripped away 🤣
Don't get me started on how hard MM can be at times too since their damage and healing can and will make them win late game 1v1s.
All I can do now is sit on the sidelines waiting for opportunities to try and pick off a half health champion. diving in for a bit of chip damage is death half the time.
Flameshooters and Valir will now be annoying to deal with.

I'm still getting used to the adjust. But this Joy is difficult because of the timing needed for her skill 2 and all pulses to deal max damage. should make Joy deal her magic damage faster without CC Immunity to help all the dashes be dealt and escape before Joy fully commits and gets stunned on final pulse of her ultimate.

thats fair, her base kit is still the same aside from the ult change. but its still fair to critique this adjustment since all Joy players became familiar CC immunity being moved to her skill 3, and has been part of her playstyle since she first arrived. its an awkward time getting used it haha 😭

joy is really bad without control immunity while ult.. Shucks moonton!
The thing is, She can go at the back by dashing into jungle creeps and kills mages or MM easily. That is because of her CC immunity. I can easily kill those annoying Valir, vale, change etc at the back. And I love looking at them running for their lives.And ofcourse. Joy can initiate too. Wasting those ulti of the enemy. Again, Because of her CC Immune. She can delete MM like moscov, hanabi etc. But now, in this era of CC mlbb, it is now much easier to counter joy. Valir can bbq me now, vale can blow me away etc. Dont care about the damage and I am happy with her currently. CC immune is her being. Thats what make her JOY! Imagine, no jungle creeps and you need to stock your 2nd skill with those cc enemy. 😂😂😂😂 I will miss her being the initiator at some games. Now, she is just a normal assasin waiting for the right time.
watching this after the nerfs, how betrayal montoon are, zhuxin gets buff and no longer needs mana when using ultimate, argus getting adjustment which make it more op, while joy now, having this hard time to kill heroes with cc effects, im pretty sure if joy gets skin they'll buff her, just as what they did to nolan, karrie, moneytoon services
