Hi, Diana did not write this song, however, it was written for her. My take on the lyrics, is someone being overwhelmed on meeting somebody and trying to grapple with the feelings engendered. Of course, you could also be correct in your interpretation.
I turned the volume way up when you started because I couldn't hear you. Then Diana started singing and I rushed to turn the volume down so as not to wake my neighbors. Then when you started talking again I couldn't hear a word you said and closed caption was wildly off from what I thought you were saying. So I don't know what you said but thanks for the reaction anyhow. You seem very nice and I'm sure you were unaware of the audio problem. I love Diana.

That is the point though, the waves on the screen are calm but the waves on her jacket are from a storm, that shows he inner turmoil. She hit and held that D6 so clearly up there that is just crazy, i have heard clear cut Sopranos that can not do that and Diana delivers high note lessons as a Contralto. And yes she can go higher than this she casually hit a D#7 to D7 whistle notes (a whole octave higher than her highest note in this song), in an interview exhibition.
