My only favorite storyline and couple in this Korean Boys Love Web Series: Balg-Eum... acted by an amazing YEO JUN JUNG... and In-Ho... acted by a mesmerizing SE MIN AHN... 🤗 😍 What do we see in this scene highlights from Episode's 3 & 4? Back in high school Balg-Eum family went bankrupt and he decided to give up In-Ho and transfer to another school. That is the part from 2:59 to the end. Then years later In-Ho comes back from the USA and finds Balg-Eum and tells him that he still likes him, and that he came back because of him, but Balg-Eum is still having hard financial problems and tries to push In-Ho away by telling him many lies, like having a new boyfriend at 0:22 and by telling him that he felt disgusted by being with him back in high school at 1:59 THAT is why In-Ho can't take it anymore and punch him, leading to that fight. In the end at 2:22 In-Ho asks Balg-Eum to have 3 dates together as a chance to see how they feel for each other, and that he would embrace Balg-Eum's choice at the end of that agreement, and Balg-Eum accepts to it. This supporting couple has an amazing and heartbreaking story; which is really very enjoyable to watch, no matter how painful and challenging, with great characterizations and acting, and with very deep emotions. They struggle a lot because of their social status difference... specially Balg-Eum is giving up In-Ho for the second time because of his family bankruptcy, and his lack of any financial support. Their reunification takes place in a time when Balg-Eum is working his ass out with all kinds of part time jobs to provide for himself in a day to day basis, and without any perspective of improving his life situation any time soon. In that context seeing the guy he liked so much, and that he still has feelings for, feels both as a curse and a time-off of his simple routine. BUT there are things that love alone is not able to overcome... specially when a person is truly honest and sincere, and is not ready to open up to love a boyfriend well much better out financially than him. That disparity is what keeps Balg-Eum holding back his love for In-Ho... and a way out does not seem possible for them. Then In-Ho giving everything up for Balg-Eum would hurt Balg-Eum so much more; and he would never forgive himself from allowing that to happen. Here we should remember previous Korean productions like "Where Your Eyes Linger"; "Mr Heart" and "To My Star"... with couples having a huge social status difference and that affecting their happy life together. We will see in the following Episodes in which direction InHo & BalgEum story develops... for both of them to find a way to be happy together. Cheers...!
