The world needs to THANK GOD for this man. I hear no one else speaking truth like he does. Thank you for him Lord Jesus!
He spoke plenty of falsehoods here in this message.
It is true that he is very down to earth and accurate on many things - but he is grossly misunderstanding Jesus' words here and speaking wrongly on the matter of divorce and remarriage. And he should stop condemning people who divorced and remarried on the grounds of adultery. They did nothing wrong, though God really wants folks to stay together and does "hate a divorce", but His Son made this one exception for sexual misconduct.
Geno's reasoning that a married woman can't commit fornication but only adultery is ridiculous because both are the same sexual activity. Plus the Jews asked him point blank about married folks and it would be ridiculous for him to answer the way Geni reasons because;
He is limited on understanding the original N.T. Greek word Jesus used, it is called "Porneo/a". It is an old word used in those days to refer to ANY KIND of sexual activity between living beings. It doesn't just mean fornication, it was used to refer to homosexuality, adultery and even beastiality. Since the days of the King James Version's completion, which their scholars were limited on knowledge of this when they put it together - and they didn't understand this. But now just about any modern translation uses the express that reflects the broad meaning of "Porneo/a" from those days - sexual immorality. Geno is wrong.
@@Hallaneious You are right, but you must be careful to understand the dimorphism between genders whe it comes to what is forbidden for men and women. The prohibitions against divorce are aimed primarily at the husband, while the prohibitions against remarriage are aimed primarily at the wife.
I absolutely love Pastor Gino Jennings teaching. He preach freely because he’s not a hireling (paid preacher) he work.
One of the reasons people hate this man is because he interrupts their lives/comfort. Especially in this area 😆

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! This is sound doctrine. I started listening to this young man named Marcus Rogers on youtube. He stated that he believes in the gospel according to Acts 2:38. I was under the impression that he was married. Apparently he has been divorced several times
He recently proposed to his fiance on youtube a few days ago. I was condemned because I asked questions about his past wives and children. They attacked my salvation. I prayed andfound this sermon. I thank Jesus Christ for this sound word. I was almost deceived by Satan. I stand on the word of God according to marriage. Thank you for this sound Gospel.

Good for you for taking heat. Yeah, Scripture is clear that if he initiated the divorce from his previous wives, he breaks wedlock with them if he marries another woman, UNLESS they committed porneia, which gets him off the hook.

I love this word amen 🙏 my husband thinks you can remarry cause his mother commits adultery she’s living in sin .
He is right and he is wrong. She should not have remarried. There is no such concept as living in sin though. Once she has remarried, she cannot go back to her first husband. Deut 24:1-4 is clear on that. She did wrong, and must repent of that and not do this again.

Gino Jennings here makes the mistake of twisting gender specific passages into gender neutral ones. Go back and watch the video, and you will see what I mean. Jesus permitted the MAN to divorce his WIFE, when porneia occurs. It is marrying a DIVORCED WOMAN, that both Jesus and Paul called adultery. Note that in Matt 5:31, Jesus clearly says that the man who divorces his wife causes HER to commit adultery. Let that stew in your mind for a while, and try to figure out why Scripture is gender specific, when our 21st century culture is so dadgum gender neutral.

NOPE! Deut 24:1-4 forbids you to go back to him. Go back to your most recent husband, and ask God to forgive you for the fact that you reamarried out of ignorance. Scripture never says to divorce your current husband in order to go back to your first husband. That is an invention of man.

In effect the woman now has 2 husband's at least in the eyes 👀 of God; following this analogy the Holy Spirit through Paul will give us a great truth, many Christians are living a life of spiritual adultery; they are on effect serving another husband the Law it is quite an analogy.
But if her husband be dead
( the Law is dead by virtue of Christ having fulfilled the Law in every respect )
She is free from the Law
( if the husband dies the woman is free to marry and serve another; the Law of Moses being satisfied in Christ, is now dead to the believer and the believer is free to serve Christ without the Law having a part or parcel in the life of the living.
So that she is no adulterous though she be married to another man
( Presents the Believer as now married to Christ, and no longer under obligation to the Law )

Pastors like this need to use a bit more discernment. Why do so many preachers go gender neutral where Scripture is gender specific. I have seen people on both sides of this debate do this sort of thing, where they use Scripture that specifies what the husband cannot do, and apply it to the wifem and vice versa!
This man of God is so passionate about the word... my God I'm inspired. God has blessed him and I hope we all turn to the Lord Dear God so he can bless us and keep us.
If only he did not adopt the 21st century standard of hermeneutics where you take Scripture that is aimed at the husband, and apply it to the wife, and vice versa!

So as a whole parent and a woman of GOD'S LAW,,, if you are;;; Sister E. Lody,,, tell yo son the entire story and not just the part that sounds good as a female to make women victims and the men the bad guy... Especially,,, when informing a young man how to be a man... He needs to know both sides... The women changed the roles... FACTS!!! They used they're power for themselves to change the laws of the land and not for the benefit of the family and GOD'S law... They switched roles…I hosted a martial arts class where there were 23 girls and 2 boys, these girls, box, ride motorcycles, smoke cigars, drink hard liquor, curse, and have women…The men are getting softer everyday around here owning 20 pairs of shoes, wearing skinny pants and jeans, have the same beefs women use to have when I was growing up, totally submissive to any woman with the right size behind and some weave, will spend more on the weekends hanging with other men than they spend on their children…As far as the work and going to work, believe me when I tell you (pre-coronavirus days) you could graduate from college with honors and still get doors slammed in your face because of culture alone. Me myself had a hard time getting a teaching job, because I spent so many years in steel mills and garages than I did around people from academia. And I also know I can start a job on the same day in these factories as a whiteman with no more education than myself, but he will bring home a hundred or two more than me. They tell them not to tell us, but I was fortunate enough to be cool with one whiteboy that blew the whistle. So I believe this is all pre planned. First wife cheated on me. Even after that matter I forgave and tried to move past it but she didn’t want to and still kept doing things behind my back eventually left home and I heard from some people she was just up to no good.
And I never communicated with her again. Been about 2 years now. I did have a gf for a while but after I put my faith in Christ I started to break apart from her and am currently single.
I divorced my first wife not knowing any better at the time.
When scripture says “except for adultery” what does that mean exactly. You cannot divorce for any reason unless someone cheated?
Do I fit that? Can I ever remarry. How would I even know they died.

Food for thought all those that don't believe this teaching. Adultery was a serious offense in those days and in some countries still. IT WAS PUNISHABLE BY DEATH. This would of made the victim free to marry again anyway. Also during those times men where really the head, a woman without a husband was doomed backed then. Divorce was for the HARD OF HEART, and wasn't so from the begining. Just like divorce, adultery is not the unforgivable sin. But in repentance and forgiveness you don't continue in it. Hosea was told to marry a prostitute to be an example to the prophet how God's people do him. Marriage is about forgiveness, reconciliation. If you cant live together (one wanna live for the world) then separate and give your all to God. His purpose for your life will keep you busy and be a blessing to you and the world
Alright, well you have to understand how Scripture defines adultery. Pastor Jennings made the same mistake other preachers make where he twisted gender specific texts into gender neutral meanings. There is a reason why Jesus siad that whoever divorces his wife except in the case of porneia, cause HER to commit adultery.

I believe it should be a means test in every state of the Union before you get a marriage license, A lot of marriages are done for the wrong reasons that have nothing to do with Godliness, but as a knight what God's has written and said I obey.
We wouldn't need a means test if we simply allow what Scripture already allows. I don't agree with FLDS on everything, but having multiple wives is NEVER condemned in Scripture.

Not all of what he stated here is true. You do not have a biiblical understanding of the meaning of adultery. I am afraid this truth that he shared is adultered with the 21st century hermeneutic of applying gender specific texts into a gender neutral meaning. Go back and watch the video and you will see what I mean.

The scripture is clear on the subject of Divorce and remarry.
In Deuteronomy 24 verse 1-5, the perimeters are clearly stated.
(1) when a man married a woman who becomes displeasing to him, because he finds some uncleanliness in her, and he writes her a certificate of Divorce, gives it to her, and sends her from his house-
(2) and if, after she leaves his house, she becomes the wife of another man.
(3) and then that man also detests her and writes her a certificate of Divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house - or that man dies leaving her a widow, and
(4) Then her first husband who divorced her must not take her back to be his wife after she has been defiled. That is an abomination in front of our Maker. And you must not bring sin upon the land which your Maker, your Father is giving you as an inheritance.
For those who has the understanding of their Maker will be wise enough to interpret this writing

It is against a man marring the same wife twice, this practice is called abomination.
One can understand that the remarrying is against the same person twice only.
I also heard Jennings saying that if you did not know any better when you got divorce and remarry, it does not make any difference. You are a sinner.
That is not true.
In the book of Ezrayah chapter 10, verse 2 reads as follows
And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the son of Elam, answered and said to Ezra, we have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: Yet Now There Is Hope In Israel concerning this thing.
Now let us therefore make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the Commandment of our God; And Let It Be Done According To The Law.
Verse 16 tells us that they did as was suggested.
Ezrayah Chapters 9 & 10 give a comprehensive overview of the Law According to the God of Israel. Not any angry person who wants to play like they are the ultimate source.

He could not be called the husband if that proof was not evidenced.
What do you think was the distinction between Solomon's 700 Wives and 300 Concubines?
He was the first man for those, while the 300 Concubines were previously known by other men before Solomon.
Women used to wear a Veil over their faces, signifying that the Veil or Hymen or Seal of Approval is still intact.

I wished I could have sat under this teaching many years ago. Cause the preachers I sat under weren't teaching repentance or anything else .I knew nothing about God. I was serving God and the devil. Not really understanding the severity of it. This teaching about God has changed my life for the better. I'm glad pastor gino Jennings is letting God use him to help the people. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Great lesson the world has no idea about marriage or remarriage but it's. All in the bible!! The only way to remarry is if your wife or husband die then u r bound to remarry . The World brags on second marriage and its. Sad only a few gonna make it to Heaven.

What is sad is to see people such as ourself, apply gender specific passages in a gender neutral way. It is the WIFE who cannot remarry unless and until her HUSBAND dies. I Cor 7:39-40 Rom 7:1-3. The only Scripture ANYWHERE that says that a husband cannot remarry, unless he divorced his wife when no porneia has occurred, are Scriptures that recount the SAME event, where Jesus had given this exception. Having more than one wife, is not sinful, whereas having more than one husband, is what Scripture calls adultery.
I got saved in 1978. Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10. I got married in holiness. I was not born in church. But, my wife was. Well I got married in 1983. Well she turned out to be a lesbian. No one told me. And we didn't last a year. So here in 2022 I never re-married. And I never touched another woman since. Well my pastor tried to keep me occupied. Which worked somewhat well. She divorced me. I didn't divorce her. Back in the 90s, when gays wanted to adopt children, she had that set up. She got a kid, but not fully. Oh, we never had kids of our own. So, she sent me some documents signifying we had no connections to one another, well I strongly disagree with gays raising or adopting kids. So with counciling from my pastor, he told me Send back the documents, with a note, I don't want to get invovef...
She had to take the child back. Now is she repent of her backsliding, and get back in church- but not with me- she do what she want.
