Any credible reunion would have to have the drummer, Yoshitaka Kozeni-apparently the only _other_ consistent member of the line-up, and pretty much their carry instrumentalist. But he's recently bowed out of his last band for personal reasons, so who knows when he'd ever be available.
Huh? What is this? I own all Midori CD's and DVD's respectively. But I don't know this. I have this concert on DVD and I know every second of it by heart because I've probably seen it 1000 times. But this is different. The camera work is different. Two professional recordings of one concert? But almost identical? Does anyone have an explanation?
Self-harm is not badass. It's sad to watch. You can find pictures of her arm with a bunch of scars from cutting. Hitting yourself is the same concept. I hope she's better now.

Is Mariko Gotō "playing" Sawa Nakamura as the frontwoman of the band Midori ? I may have read that she was channelling Nakamura from the manga/anime Aku No Hana 悪の華 and as an aside, Mariko Gotō even sang as Sawa Nakamura ( the character ) in one of the anime's opening credits sequences. If all that is accurate, then it is really cool and she is even more amazing than I first thought.
Midori started in 2003 and Aku No Hana 2009, so if anything, Mariko inspired Nakamura, but i can clearly see how both are so alike especially with the lyrics and themes that Midori talks about and all the manneirism and emotion from Mariko while singing. Maybe that's why i instantly fell in love with Midori when i first heard them, it reminded me of this crazy feeling when i first read Flowers of Evil.
@@gnoogie they talk about coming of age stuff, newfound desires, broken love, violence and distaste for society and other people. the same rejected feel of Aku no Hana whole premise, the feeling of not belonging and the resentment that comes from it mostly. ranges from sincere love song to one where she says violent stuff for the sake of it to screaming "who are you" repeatedly throughout the whole song.
