Just to clear the confusion, Assyrians adopted the Aramaic Alphabeth and that it is all the connection between the Assyrian language and the Aramaic. Just like the Persians adopted the Arabic Alphabeth and the Turks adopted the Latin Alphabeth. So referring to the Assyrian language should always be As Assyrian language.
Historically speaking, a good percentage of Assyrians of today in Iraq and around the world, are in fact the descendent of the lost tribes. Our DNA is so close.
I visit Israel twice and I love it. I felt at home and hopefully, I will come back this year again. I will start learning Hebrew as well. It will be very easy to learn.

Assyrians speak "Assyrian Neo-Aramaic", a dialect of Aramaic, they do not speak Akkadian. The DNA of Assyrians and that of the so called "Kurdish Jews" are almost identical. "Kurdish Jews" are in fact in most cases Assyrians by blood.

It’s common sense Jews were in exile living with Assyrians , they adopted the language we spoke and mixed into the Assyrian identity
