    KD missed that shot because his legs went out, not because he didn't have the mental fortitude. It was a physical issue. The exact same thing happened to Kobe when he was like 19, and afterwards Kobe trained hard in the off season to make sure he had the stamina to have strong legs the entire game. KD here is mid 30's, post achilles tear, during a game 7. He put it ALL on the floor. There is absolutely nothing to hold against KD for this unreal, all time great performance.

      Imo it was jimmy butler in the 2020 finals he played all 48 minutes giving 110%. That made him one of my favorite players but this is also a moment where kd gained my respect

    This series, alongside his humility, shifted my perception of KD. He put the entire team on his back and did everything he posdibly could to drag them to the finals. I still don't love his 2016 decision to sign with GSW, but I gained a lot of respect for him after that Brooklyn-Milwaukee series.

    My favorite player😢 He played every single minute of the game, was carrying, struggled with no foul calls, 48 points, teammates were selling, being guarded by the best perimeter defender at the time, and was used by the team not stop.

    Its so sad when a NBA star plays 48 minutes gives it 110% all game and still ens up losing. Its more sad when its an elimination playoff game or a game 7. The photo with jimmy butler sweating with his head down was also sad. Jimmy played all 48 minutes in the finals just to lose. Shi sad when it happens

    I remember this. I am a bucks fan, and at the time I was at Disney world. So, I was watching the game in my hotel, i saw the bucks were doing by about 6-ish points late in OT. I ended up going to sleep, praying that they would win. When I woke up I got the great news, the bucks were heading to the eastern conference championship.

    He’s humble and the reason why their here in the nba they have the ability to take the shot with no hesitation and the next day he probably worked his ass off to perfect it so he could make it if that happens again he’s a good player he’s respected and that’s how life is is not fair like that shot that shot was not meant to be

    It didn’t hurt KD as much as it hurt us nets fans I’ll tell you that gd much I still have nightmares about this shot and the shot with his foot on the line. If Kyrie wasnt hurt we would’ve busted they ass without question 4-2
    This was our championship to lose unfortunately because no one ABSOLUTELY NO ONE was trying to see us 🩶🖤🤍
