Touhou 7.5: Immaterial and Missing Power - Youmu (No Commentary)

Youmu as you can guess is primarily a melee fighter with very few projectiles. However despite that her range is very paltry compared to what you might think with Youmu being a sword user, many of her attacks being fast kicks or hitting you with the hilt of her sword before slashing you. On top her dashing is different from other characters, on the ground going at the enemy she's the fastest running like crazy along the ground however when backing up she just makes short little dashes back. Normally this would make getting away difficult however her jumping dashes propel her very far allowing her to bound around the field acrobatically with ease. With this in mind a good strategy for playing as Youmu is to use your C projectile when charging at the opponent and with your speed you'll reach there the same time her bullets do allowing you to score multiple hits before getting out of there. Her weakness naturally is her lack of real projectile power so someone staying a distance will be at an advantage however her speed allows her to close the distance so she won't be completely helpless.
