Why would I focus on the part I dont know exists. I should do all I can to enjoy life, love and be a good person without being good just to get a reward. We have no proof that heaven exists, the bible is an ancient book with as much merit as any other ancient and/or religious text. So why would I focus on heaven when I have no good reason to believe it exists? But I do know this life exists so I will focus on that. The reason I have a problem with this when I dont think heaven exists is I can see how gullible people could be influenced by this and spend their whole lives focusing on a fairy tale, rather than on what is known to be true and not live a full life. This 4 step method is what is used by this guy to create an illusion that Christianity has the answers. 1. Introduce an idea with truth-"There are more important things than possessions" Which is true but not to the extent of devoting your life to a fairy tale. 2. Simplify that truth to a generalisation. ie, Say there are 2 answers, you can either be greedy and materialistic or love jesus and go to heaven. 3. Say the world chooses the wrong answer. Ie materialism is the only answer the world can comprehend as if everyone else could not come up with what a pastor could. 4. Claim Christianity has the right answer. Call out to God with ALL of your heart, and Jesus will be revealed as the truth. When you call, God WILL reveal himself. See we don’t feel the need for God until we are broken and are truly searching for the truth. Then we are sincere.. He said, when you seek me, with all your heart you will find me. Because in order to be with God, we must be Holy. We cannot attain that on our own as our sins separate us from God. No one is good. But what God did, in his love for us, that while we were still sinners, God came in the form of a man and lived a perfect life, and died for the sins of the world. He took our place of punishment so that we would not receive the recompense of our sins, that is death.. Jesus is the resurrection and all those who believe in his name will live. The Bible is the living word of God, inspired by Him. It is a book of prophecy and has been proven true. Receive the free gift of salvation that has already been paid. Repent, turn away from your sin and be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. After I was my baptized I FELT the Holy Spirit poured out like Hot oil from my toes to my head. Shortly after, I started hearing from God ❤️. He told me specifically to go see my OBGYN, twice He did, since I did not act on it. I found out I had a tumor that visit, I had no symptoms. It was ovarian cancer. Many other times God spoke to me, once the Holy Spirit said “Run to the stairs” I did and found my baby at the top trying to crawl down! God revealed I would have twins( no twins in my family). Sure enough two babies at the first ultrasound 🙏🏽.He has held the rain back when I walked home from work, when SURELY it would rain, with the darkest clouds I’ve ever seen. It was almost an hour walk, but the second I reached cover the clouds burst open with a pour. I fell to my knees and cried at the awesomeness of our God. The God who sees us… It has been a life changing experience to find Him. I will never let him go. God will speak to your heart and unexplainable things will happen. He reveals things before they happen. He is the beginning and the end. As a child I had an encounter with a demon, yes a demon who tried to pull me under my bed. Two weeks before the gospel was preached to me and I knew the name of Jesus. That He is the Son of God. I called out to Jesus in my most fearful moment for help and the demon let me go immediately. There is power in the name of Jesus. I pray this reaches someone. This is just part of my testimony!
