@@guyindesert It's been forever since I was last a Havasu, although this summer I have a couple trips planned with friends, so I'm not sure what places are open and which are closed.
@@guyindesert Ah that is a shame about Black Meadow landing. my friends and used to buy gas, and eat in their diner. Cattail Cove looked interesting, there is another RUclips channel who did a tour of it and it looks clean and quiet, plus they are expanding their campsite.
@@paulayala4816 what place is expanding ? Black meadows is quiet and their "a" row waterfront is nice if you bring your own rig ,,,but hotel is dirty and very outdated same as kitchets no t.v. ........I think the place to go now is maybe landing new hotel or havasu spring multi hotels pool, normal stuff
lol ... lil one asks ''why do we have to go soo slooooooooo??'' hehehehehe answer would be: ya only wanna be goin' as fast as you wanna hit the dock!!! nice
Water is shallow cuz it’s winter and they lower the water level. Also that isn’t a true boat dock it’s more just so everyone can launch and pick up their passengers. Made for people with little 24 foot lake boats 😉
We have a Ram Rebel, 1500 ideally we would have a heavy duty but the air suspension on the truck is great and power is not a problem biggest problem is the stability in wind, especially with all that weight at the back of the boat. We are having a new aluminum triple axle trailer made for it, so we can keep out truck and have much better stability
Yea, that isn't a long term solution but it's the only way to lift the generator off when the boat is beached. During the times we ran AC it was nice to have the generator off the boat.
@@landnseaexpeditions6208 I mean you seem to take a long time to get your boat off the trailer warming up your engines and you left your truck on the launch for a long time , I’ve seen some angry people on boat ramps 😂
@@mikewatson5281 Oh I understand we don't have a lot of choice because the engines will stall easy before they are warmed up, so far we have never held anyone up, and everyone is always understanding and helpful
You always put your lower Units in a upward position when traveling and launching!! You a Bad Boy!!!
amazing boat i love it and you're video is great keep it coming
On the other side of the lake is Cattail Cove State Park. They have full hookups and a boat ramp.
Did Sandpoint ever re-open ?

Drain your rear differential and fill it with fresh gear oil ASAP. Ask me how I know this....
Amen jay
You can also look into extending your dif breather so it doesn't gulp water. On my Xterra, it's quite easy to extend up to the taillight.
It must get excessively hot 🥵 in the middle AZ summer holy cow
Well the old AC works really well, plan to swap out for a modern system soon just the same
@@landnseaexpeditions6208 oh nice I didn’t know it had AC
what kind of truck do you have? is it an F250?

I do believe for SAFTEY issues you should move the Generator Aft and up ... Just saying you don't want that getting wet.

How not to launch.
You have to put your out drives up when putting boat in and out and when going down the road
We do always do that but wasn't thinking clear that day, I was worried about depth, and did the exact opposite of what was smart.
@@landnseaexpeditions6208 ggood just trying to help
1000th subscriber here, lol. got you monitized!
Awesome! Thank you everybody, we have a bunch of new videos on the way

We do have AC on the boat for summer
yep it for sure is, it gets up to 120 out there
What do you do if there is a line at the launch?
I am sure there could be a long wait at that launch during busy times
