Awesome video man. A 12 second naturally aspirated v8 wagon for daily use is mint as. Can't wrong with that and even better that it's a family car. Won't be late dropping off the kids to school.
I wonder how fast my wagon is. I got a massive cam in mine that is basically a 480 pack. And it’s my daily driver. Drives like stock. :p its got more power at the wheels then a LSA ;P
@@max16 I have the same as you done to my hsv ls3 maybe a little bit more and l get about 375 kW at the tyres also have nitrous injection that takes it up to around 480 kW at the tyres 👍
I’m sorry, I thought I heard you say “a Holden went down the quarter mile without blowing up” you said that, right? I just find that confusing, wtf would it blow up? Your words mate, can you tell me why you said that?
Thats me taking a dig at the reliability of holdens/hsv's as I am a JDM guy at heart and as most of my friends would understand me owning one is somewhat hypocritical on my part. Also what would it blow it? Any of the mechanical parts on the car, like it doesnt take much. fueling is wrong it could lean out and burn a piston (eg blocked fuel filter, blocked injector), timing is wrong, could detonate and fuck a piston, if oil pump had issues, could fuck out bearings. Taking any car and driving it hard has these risks. Yes a relatively stock car with a mild tune is FAR less likely to break, it would only take one of the above and a countless list of other reasons. Anyone who has this assumption their car is bulletproof is dreaming. And before you start raging back at the amazing quality of these immaculate machines that holdens are, I have had nothing but dramas with reliability of components on this car since I bought it. None mechanical yet (but it is an almightly LS afterall, we wont mention the lifter issues im bound to face) but many others throughout the car.
@@sp33d_boat yeah nice man I got a vf2 ssv sedan. Only has a OTR on it. Got it tuned at Tunecorp goes hard. Ran a 12.9 at 111mph but had OEM tyres on it with no burnout so wheel spin killed my time I’m assuming.

Thanks man! It does go alright. Perfect for the street, loads of response and good torque down low. All it needs now is a blower!

@@max16 you need more than a cam to be a 480 😄
@@johnboy5167 yeah naa. big cam, heads and intake, decent exhaust. those wilkinshaw packs measure engine KW not wkw.

@@sp33d_boat had my VF hsv for 7 years from new haven't had any problems and it's a lot faster than yours 😁
Nice vid man
Thanks mate!
That black vf launched well in the first run. What did he run?
Yeah it went hard haha. He did an 11.4 @ 127 mph
That orange EK Holden certainly hooked up .
Yeah man, the track was holding relatively good. Like everything, the right suspension and tires.
Excellent vid 👍
Hahahaha....you don't need to touch that lever mate, it's an auto. Hilarious 12.7.
Went pretty good man. Was it tuned at formulatech?
Thanks mate. Honestly not sure who put the package and tune on it. Bought it second hand as is

@@Dronefishha ah yeah nice! Yeah your MPH is there. My brothers gt had similar mph with a 1.9 60ft and managed a 12.5.
