Dan I'm always blown away by how, out of what initially looks like a hot 'inky' mess, you pull out a stunning piece of art. Such kudos to the many hours you've spent honing your creative skills & style congratulations 🎉 Cheers from 🦘 🐨🐾
The most famous Japanese masters of the last thousand years in making tea cups for the tea ceremony took it upon themselves to make pottery that looked like it had been made by a novice. To this day, no one has managed to copy it. Even if everything you see here can be copied, Jan, your style of creativity and presentation is uniquely wonderful.
Hiya Dan, just to tell you that I bought your e book of monoprinting and it all came through ok. I have never downloaded an e book before. I have printed up all the templates and will have a go. I think your large paintings should not be called monoprints. You are painting them but without a brush. I wanted to get something from your site because you are generous with your time doing all these videos. Cheers from gail in Australia =)

These put me in mind of Hammer Films posters from the 60s. Very evocative work.
Wonderful

That mount idea around the edges is so much better than tape. Great idea. Lovely work....
Love these faces - they remind me of old drypoint figure etchings. Very intriguing process!
I don't know how you do it but you got that magical touch 😮❤
Really beautiful, amazing process to watch!

Really moody vibe. What material are you using as an ink sheet, please?
They look like freezer bags but they seem to have a texture. I would like to know too =)
