Mwaafreeka is over-rating Kaligraph: 1. Because hard-work will always beat talent, so not the most talented make it but the talented + hardworking are extraordinary. 2. Kaligraph isn't original his content is Americanized, it feels like you're listening to rap from Americas 90s 3. Just because you've made the most money in hip-hop doesn't mean you're the best I bet he has a huge fan based from sattelite towns than in Nairobi which has the most money, that's why the most popular musical artists in Kenya are the mother-tongue speakers for a fact and gospel artists Urbanites aren't as traditional in musical taste(atleast not the majority) and are more secular so they wont bop to gospel 5 days a week. I'd rather rate Boutross sheng-rap and Wakadinali(although I don't listen to them as much anymore); I'd say Boutross has put in the work but is super-talented in music, same to Wakadinali, they're a lot of other amazing musical artists now and original: Kering; Lilmaina; and the arbantone genre. Again Mwafreeka is showing his age but I don't blame him but it's good to develop a taste for different music and modern--reference Kaligraphs 90s hip-hop style--old--. King Kaka is great but is kinda falling out; Octopizzo is goated.
