Great review! I couldn’t see under the engine but is the engine suspended on motor mounts like the 200 series are? Or is it sitting on a flat steel plate?
Uh I grew up using a 1969 John Deere 140 garden tractor to cut grass and till garden. Date stamped on I’d tag so I know for a fact it was 1969. Getting parts for it wasn’t fun. Probably still in jd database computers.
Nice tractor.
Thanks 👍
The serial number on the data plate @ 2:26 dates this garden tractor to 1968.
I have original papers that say 1971 and the serial number is from a 1971

If we could go back and tell them those rear tires would be no good on a 1% slope with wet grass...
