@@gdo02 my thoughts exactly. If you don't understand the resource mechanics and try Ramasses as a new player, you're pretty much done from the very beginning... and it's labelled as an 'easy' campaign
@@louper3002Yep if you don't understand how to try to make diplomacy and resources work as ways to keep people from declaring war on you, you're going to get dog piled. Even then, it's running back and forth across the Sinai to put out fires. Might as well not even get involved in the Egyptian Civil War since you can't deal with it for a very long time
You seem very committed to pharaoh, would you become pharaoh by any means? If you do a Senakhte game, could you become pharaoh by using sea lanes to conquer greek settlements to reach pharaoh with Mycenian "mercenaries"?
You'll need Egyptian Legitimacy to build for becoming Pharaoh. But you could totally choose to move into Greece and try to become Wanax there if you capture a needed settlement to unlock their ancient legacy! The game is really open ended like that which is cool
How can I challenge the Pharaoh? Do I have to declare war or take his seat in the court? I'm in late game wih 300 Legitimacy and he only has 167. A short video such as tik tok if possible showing the action
In the Power of the Crown menu, you should see an option on the left hand side under your faction leader where it shows a leaderboard of everyone's legitimacy. If you have more than current pharaoh or are in range close enough to their amount you can click the begin civil war button to kick it off. Note that there is a mandatory time of peace for a couple turns in between civil wars
@@dhruvsanjaykumar2582 yes you can confederate factions of the same culture or by annexing them through the power of the crown but it’s definitely harder than in warhammer
Can you cover the Different Gods in game. But also related things, like the High Priests Court Pasition, and leaders traits and titles that might effect religous things or faith. Same with policy, tech, and other developments for gods and religions. And army or Provence stances that buff or hinder religous matters. Same with other things that may affect faiths, like a wife trait that boost religious maters or hinders it. Etc.
So ramsses gets 2 court actions to make up for his sinai start on top of being the poster child. Also its not usually worth giving up turns for gold when you can usually do court actions to get gold from the treasurer or viceroy of kush.
@@Vileurple also later on when you become king as you stack the court from king tiers do you get more court actions or is it just having people not plot against you
Helpful guide. I hate the court system though. It's really poorly implemwnted and jarring when it comes to immersion. For example if you are a minor you get a court pisition and can interact with all these faces and you have no idea where they are on thebcampaign map
Do Diplomatic Relations have an impact on the Court minigame, or vice-versa? Does plotting against another courtier decrease their diplo relations with you?
Hey I got a question I’m still playing total war pharaoh not this new version but the regular one, anyways I’m at a point where I’m putting generals in different positions in court well long story short idk what I did but now in court instead of being remesses I’m one of my generals (seti) and I don’t know how to change it back to be remesses again . Can anyone help ? Thanks
@@Vileurple es remesess but I just went back to the turn where it went all awol and me and it went back to normal idk it was weird thanks for responding though 🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is my first total war game and I couldn’t win a campaign for shit until I started watching your vids. Thanks for this video

@@Vileurplewould you mind doing a video on how to use the traveling merchant
This game is noticeably more difficult at the start than other Total War starts. Warhammer especially seems to take it easy on you

Oh that would be dope!
thanks for the guide! It was an aspect of the game I didn't really interact with too much. Now I am excited to scheme my way to the top.
Love it! It gets really fun!

If you just destory all your enemies with efficiency then the "Court" becomes meaningless.

only if you get caught! Naw jk, it will only negatively effect what it says "On Failure" for. Great question tho!
