You hit it on the head, brother. Don and I actually laugh at these comments that are like "Oh Andy smoked Don on that tune" or "Don crushed Andy into tiny dust particles on that tune". There isn't a shred of "one-upsmanship" or competition when we play together. Of course a lot of guitar players can't be in a room the size of a gymnasium together wihtout having their egos clash, but Don and I are in this for the music. For the record, I wouldn't be writing the music I do without Don. Andy
Do you remember your first show in São Paulo? I was there with a friend and invited you to McDonald's with us, you autographed my guitar and actually gave us a holler when you where going out and saw us on McDonald's
I remember downloading this album on iTunes while I was a freshman in college. I listened to this album on repeat! So glad these classic videos are still up on youtube after all these years.
The imagery this piece gives me is fantastic. I wrote an entire one and a half pages because of it. The title fits so perfectly that it's hard to imagine it named as anything else. I can practically see the dolphins jumping out of the water, and then slowly down and floating about lazily in the water. I can't stop listening. It's purely lovely. :]
A song from my son through my Angel from the UK. What a delightful surprize. Thanks to Andy and Don and to you "B" for your casring and compassion and sweetness sharing this magnificent tune Dolphins with me.
I think its cool how they both alternate between rhythm and lead melody, since they are similar in style. Don Ross is a little bit more of a funk person, and Andy Mckee, is well, Andy Mckee. But its nice to know that they can both lead and support each other so well. It really combines both of their styles. Just purely awesome to listen to.
This is the tune you listen to walking down the road and the conrete jungle around you turns into a fields of joy and beautiful scenery .. EXTREME EPICness !!!
And again, greatness is still unappreciated. These guitarists are some of the most talented out there. Keep making "Real" music, for REAL music lovers. Much love
WOW this was posted on my Civ/.Navy sons birthday Dec.28. Synchonicities just a shouting out from my little crossed over son through the hands of My Angel from the U.K.
Heavenly to my Soul. Lovingness to the Angel that shared this gift a week ago. It has been a true blessing to not only me but my son(s) ;) The one in the other dimension and the older one here on this earth plain. I keep hearing the words, "Mom I got that Dolphin tune stuck in my head it so beautiful." Peace and LOVINGNESS to the WHOLE. :-)
this is what all music should be like. here is to very talented guys just jamming together. all these people that disliked any of andy's or don's songs needs to stop listening to lady gaga and justin bieber. that is nothing more than auto tuners and flashy lights get off it and listen to some really music. where people put all there heart and sould into every song.
I just received this album... Don and Andy you guys are where real guitar is at nowdays, thankyou for your gifted talents. People if you've never been to Candyrat's go have a look!
GERRRSHSHS AHH!! I wish I was able to do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! words are not enough... been listening to Andy for years now... never get tired of this.

these guys are amazing live, they really do acknowledge your presence and really does get you into the jibe. Comic and music genius! Thanks for a great night don and andy!
Hi guys... You've performed another fine piece together. I'm glad you guys hooked up to perform together. The distinct mastery you both bring to the guitar is evident in this piece, and I REALLY appreciate neither of you lost your identity in the song. Thanks... Bob Hunter
I'm thinkin' you should have an Ocean Concert Tour, so the dolphins can rejoice and revel along with this beautiful arrangement you have made! 5 stars is definitely not enough!
This almost sounds like a Harvest Moon theme... Man I wish it was MY theme song... Everyone would be so happy around me all the time! This song rocks and makes me smile every time I listen to it. Good job!
candyrat studios are home to my favourite guitar players. Don Ross , Antoine Dufour , Andy McKee. But especially antoine dufour. His songs really project the emotions that he wants to portray. He writes a story with every song he plays. And the others are just brilliant aswell :] Thank you all for making such good music :)
i watched all of these videos and yes, they are amazing, that goes without saying. to me, the greatest part is to see how these to brilliant musicians are perfectly in tune with each other. it is seemless. amazing
This by far has to be the most melodic song that is on "The Thing that Came From Somewhere" simply beautiful. They both are in perfect sync with each other
"Jazz drummers for Don and Andy!" I was looking for something new that SPEAKS, and I found it. Great to see these videos posted. Support these guys... Go to their shows and buy their great music. They're living it.
Oops, left my comment on the other video of this. A more elaborate post on the other one, but in short, a simply wonderful arrangement. My heart melts.
You guys area all a breath of Fresh Air in the World of music. Great musicians playing Great Music. Keep doing what you do. Oh, and Andy... keep the Hair growing man :)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME AND PREFORM IN LONDON, ON.!!!! :D:D:D:D even though I've never been to a concert in my entire life... I'd gladly make this an exception anyday!

15 years later and I still search for this song.
This song makes me dream of a peaceful world...only wish it could come true!!
Just amazing. The sun just rise in the middle of the night. If you are feeling low, this song pushes all worries away for a moment

Loved this in 2008, and it still warms my heart, just with more memories today.

Just the fact that they come back in right in time with no cues is amazing. Andy is looking fitter and trimmer as well. Great tune guys!
