There isn't a shred of "one-upsmanship" or competition when we play together. Of course a lot of guitar players can't be in a room the size of a gymnasium together wihtout having their egos clash, but Don and I are in this for the music. The imagery this piece gives me is fantastic. I wrote an entire one and a half pages because of it. The title fits so perfectly that it's hard to imagine it named as anything else. I can practically see the dolphins jumping out of the water, and then slowly down and floating about lazily in the water. I can't stop listening. It's purely lovely. :]

I think its cool how they both alternate between rhythm and lead melody, since they are similar in style. Don Ross is a little bit more of a funk person, and Andy Mckee, is well, Andy Mckee. But its nice to know that they can both lead and support each other so well. It really combines both of their styles. Just purely awesome to listen to.
