You know it's a fancy ship when you have to request a quote from their website😂 They assume if you're just browsing for shits and giggles you can't afford it.
I must agree with others who commented. Danny is by far the most engaging tour guide on any property, be it on land or sea. I wonder if Danny would be mute if someone tied his hands behind his back. It does portray the unbounded energy he has for his job. I look forward to his review of the Splendor. Hopefully before I board for their 12-22 Holiday cruise thru the Panama Canal.
She certainly is, now is a great time to book 2022 or 2023. Believe it or not they are selling out quickly since most other people are thinking like you. When you are ready let us know!
Wonderful video tour. You are enjoyable to listen to. Like the other comments, I agree that you are simply THE BEST. I'll call you when I win the lottery as you have shown me the most beautiful cruise ship I have ever seen. Thank you Danny!
Harr Travel we really need a tour of the Carnival Magic because we are going on it on August 4 2021 and it’s our first time sailing on the Carnival Magic.
once again, another great tour. This seems like a very nice ship but probably caters more to a more specific crowd, nice but I doubt I'd enjoy it as much as some other ships/lines. Videos like these are useful with understanding that.
I can not wait ..January 3ed Miami to San Diego 😍😍😍 Thanks so much for such a wonderful video. May I know how to make a reservation for the Asian restaurant so I have a reservation when arrive ? Thanks in advance. Sincerely , Patricia
NEW SUBSCRIBERS HERE THANKS HARR TRAVEL VERY INFORMATIVE I WAS THEN AN EX CREW OF MV THE WORLD IM, JUST ASKING WHICH IS THE MOST LUXURIOUS AND MOST EXPENSIVE CRUISE SHIP BETWEEN THIS TWO SHIPS THANKS AGAIN HARR TRAVEL
Both the Seven Seas Explorer and the Seven Seas Spendor would be up for that title for sure. They are very different in decoration though. Explorer is more masculine, and the Splendor is the feminine version.
A quick question. I am going to embark on 14th of February at Regent Explorer, Miami. This is my first time to be working on a cruiseship. I do not have a Seaman’s Book but I have already applied for it and got a CT certificate from Panama Maritime Authority. Am I allowed to move out on a port day . Help and guideline in this would be appreciated. Thanks
You spent a lot of time taking us thru the spa space, at the top of the review you stated that everything was included in the price, does that include the Spa?
By the way you can't do laps in a pool with steps for the kick off wall lol. It's definitely big for a cruise ship pool but its no lap pool. That would be at least 25 yards for small lap pool.
Thank you!! This was an incredible video. My wife and I have been going on the Oceania Line but now I would like to try Regeant. I do wonder if it is worth the cost difference. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks, again, for ALL of your videos.
Thank you for the kind words. A lot of the cost difference comes from the included amenities. So the questions I would have for you is would you take advantage of the added inclusions. If the answer is yes, then upgrading is a no brainier. Feel free to reach out to us at harrtravel.com/contact and we can get a more specific conversation going to make sure you get the best cruise for your money!
We were wondering the same thing. The biggest difference are probably the included excursions and the alcohol beverage package. If you're going to make use of that, I'd say it's worth it. Also, it looks like Regents newer ships and cabins are a bit nicer than Oceania, if you value that as well.
their ships only hold about 700-800 people, their not interested in the carnival model of shoving thousands of people on board. also their priced super high ( around 5500 starting price for a seven day) so they dont cater to the young crowd looking for a cheap vacation so in return they keep out the trash you get on a large carrier. i know someone who went on the paul gogan (spell check) which was one of their older ships and said they will never go on carnival or anything like that ever again.
I find this observation very useful. I'm going to book a cruise on this ship and I don't want to pay a lot of money to feel like I'm at a frat party. Thank you!
I really like the design of this ship. But judging from the other guests in this video, and dedicated activity areas like bocce and shuffleboard, this is definitely not my cup of tea. This feels like a retirement home on sea.
It looks like they let you aboard on turnover day, in port, between cruises for an hour while no one was aboard, to run about and do your video. Then they kicked you off. Admit it.
If it only took us an hour to film these we would be super human... Filming time is between 6-8 hours, and there are guests present the whole time. We also have done this a few times and know where the passengers will be and strategically avoid most of them.
@@HarrTravel If you say so, I believe you. But the ship is at the dock for your entire video. Please understand that I do not wish to insult you, as the video is very good, but there are NO PASSENGERS, even on deck or in the buffet.
you know it's a fancy ship when danny whips out the sport coat
👍🏼😂
and on the family ships it's all ice cream cones, coney dogs and random napping spots
he should've introduced himself as "Daniel" (ooh la la)

The Best Cruise tour guide I've ever come across youtube!
Agreed
Thank you so much guys, we started small and you guys keep us going!
🙌🏻🙏🏻
I don’t even like cruises but this guy worth watching no matter what he does. Good guy.
So lucky I had a chance to work onboard this ship for almost 3 years :) Home away from home!
what was it like working there?
@@Buvucyxfubvydrztcib how much are the tips?

Oooo a floating Restaurant. Nice ship.
Delicious to say the least!!
Gorgeous ship. Looking forward to booking a cruise in the near future, post COVID-19, probably late 2022 or early 2023.

I watched your video on the Harmony of the seas and I knew were everything was! Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Wow!! what an amazing ship.
Splendid tour Danny , as always .
Glad you enjoyed it
A ship worth exploring the seven seas with.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
Many thanks for such an in-depth look at this luxurious ship!
Thanks HARR Travel for the information, fyi you have an amazing tour guide.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for providing the most comprehensive and helpful videos. Headed on the explorer next week so the tips were perfect. Cheers
Wow such a great tour. I felt like you were docent at upscale museum giving a tour due the most elegant art on a ship.
I’m researching luxury cruise ships for a new TV series and find your videos incredibly fun and informative. Thanks!
Glad you like them!
Sweet video. Keep the videos coming and great work
Thank you so much for watching!

Just wait until we tour the brand new Splendor! Thank you so much for the kind words, they really mean a lot to the whole team.
Very well done. Thank you.

outstanding tour, I could've watched another hour of this easily. TYVM and if I ever get the $$$ to travel I'll be sure to look you up.

Best review. Well done
Now that is the only cruise I would contemplate - she is doing a few Alaska cruises soon.
You won't regret it, she is absolutely gorgeous!

Absolutely, getting a good idea of what's out there is the best way to hone in on what you really want.
Impressive tour 👏🏿
Thank you so much!
So, I'm going on this ship in February to the Caribbean. I guess I'm going to have to find that fancy Rose Titanic dress, aren't I? Ah ha ha ha.
Very well informed, organized tour. Thank you for this. I'll contact you soon with some questions after I do a bit more research.
We are here when you are ready!
Danny's 2 favorite words: massive and really. Lol
immaculate
She certainly is!
I was hoping you would show me some of the staterooms (cabins). That was my main purpose of watching this video.
We have all of those on the channel as well!
At dinner in each restaurant during your entire voyage, after your first entrée are you allowed a complementary second entrée?
I fear that the open, carefree cruising days are over.
Thank you, Yellow Plague.
They aren't over, just will take some time to come back. And we are ready!
Racist, much?
Is the sauna and steam room co ed or separate?
I can not wait ..January 3ed Miami to San Diego 😍😍😍
Thanks so much for such a wonderful video.
May I know how to make a reservation for the Asian restaurant so I have a reservation when arrive ? Thanks in advance.

I would call the "fake fireplace" an "ambient fireplace" 😉 that one's free
Danny will probably translate that to "eclectic fireplace..."
"Wood-burning façade"

You don't realize just how tall Danny is until he's standing next to other people.
Agree 100%, he makes me look short and I'm 6'
Is regent better than oceania?
Regent would be considered the 6 Star product in the NCLH fleet. Oceania is not far behind, but Oceania is not all inclusive the way Regent is.
Harr Travel thank you harr. I guess i’ll try regent next year.
Is dinner formal?
Each restaurant is slightly different, semi-formal would probably be the best explaination.
Thank you
I forgot to ask. What is your microphone.. And camera
Rode Link, Sony A7R III
Don't worry guys Harr would most likely tour newer ships in the future including Carnival.
We shall see what the future brings.
And we rely on you

Was this an over 55 age cruise? Cause I like the age group in this video.....How do I ask to be in this type of age group cruise?
Totally cool cruise ship but certainly not my style of cruise. Not that I'd be able to afford it anyhow. :'D
It's definitely a much slower relaxed pace.
No art gallery?
They have millions in art around the ship and the full artists loft.
@@HarrTravel That you can purchase?
Where are all the passengers?
Is this a Coved tour?
Not a Covid tour, just a luxury ship with far fewer passengers than the big lines.
their ships only hold about 700-800 people, their not interested in the carnival model of shoving thousands of people on board. also their priced super high ( around 5500 starting price for a seven day) so they dont cater to the young crowd looking for a cheap vacation so in return they keep out the trash you get on a large carrier. i know someone who went on the paul gogan (spell check) which was one of their older ships and said they will never go on carnival or anything like that ever again.

0:00 start...
Granite not marble, lol.
There is lots of both! But there is much more marble.
Nice and luxurious but just seems boring
The focus is much more on the enrichment, classic entertainment and over the top dining and service
@@HarrTravel That sounds fantastic to me!

For the real "retirement home at sea" vibe see American Cruise Line.

Tacky
That's a hard disagree from us...
Followlost ... you’ve obviously never been on a Carnival ship if you think this is tacky
How is this tacky? It’s literally one of the most expensive cruise ships in the world, the cheapest room is over 1000 USD a night
@@stickman8459 equating cost to taste is tacky
In other words only rich people would be able to go on vacation on this type of cruise ship.
I was going to book with them but the guy mentioned all female staff so another load of woke crap then. Will book silverseas.
How did you survive to adulthood with that brain?!
Sailed on her twice including maiden voyage. I don’t like it, sorry. Dark and gloomy with terrible artwork and way too blingy.
