    This is so interesting! I only found your channel and the Addams vlogs just now, which is a shame, but it's so fascinating to have yet another point of view from inside of the show! I watched every vlog Carrie uploaded over the course of the tour, but I never thought of all the additional jobs that are necessary for a show to run smoothly... Great job! Wish I could've seen it :')
    (bitter) greetings from Germany xx

      Andy Vlogs totally not your fault haha :D
      You can blame RUclips and its algorithm for it... It could have picked up on the fact that I try to watch every video of any production starring Carrie Hope Fletcher, doesn't matter if it's of the company or the technical details, I'm interested! Shame on you, RUclips, shame on you.

    Wow, did you do that for every show and venue? Also what tips do you give someone just about to finish uni in June for your area of job? Also, have you used capture?

    • @AndyVlogsUk
      @AndyVlogsUk  4 года назад +3

      Hello!! We did indeed do that in every venue! Contact a local theatre to see if they are looking for local crew and start at the bottom, work hard and the better jobs will come in. I have used and still use capture for my designs!

      @@AndyVlogsUk Ah cool, as I leave uni in june, as currently using capture students edition with etc nomad. I might look at touring, even just doing ASM would you think that might be good way to go?

  • @poppybland4645
    @poppybland4645 7 лет назад +1

    Do you enjoy touring? I am taking BTEC Production Arts as an Alevel next year to hopefully progress to either to LX design or (hopefully) touring with a production to operate shows, I have done a couple of gets ins and outs with professional shows at my school, however are obviously not nearly as full on as touring with a company like the addams family! Any tips or little tricks??? Thank you, Poppy :)

    • @AndyVlogsUk
      @AndyVlogsUk  7 лет назад

      Hello Poppy! I love touring! It can be very hard at time but it is good fun and you learn a lot!!! If it's lighting you're into and want to progress in then the best thing to bear in mind is that it's all the same. From small tours to big tour, what you do is the same just more of it!! My best advice for where you are in life is keep going and challenge yourself and those around you to be better and learn more! As for tips and tricks, there are so many to learn on the way up that i could write a book! But if you have any specific questions I would be more then happy to answer! Best of luck with everything! And let me know how you get on! :D

    That’s part of the reality you need a test subject to see how the light looks on somebody in that position
