This song is nothing more than the woes of alcohol addiction and how it affects everyone around you. As a recovering alcoholic, the line "I wish every night was New years Eve, so this Irish disease could have company."; is nothing more than you having a problem and wishing everyone around you had the same problem so that you can enable it. As an addict I can confidently say that I constantly looked for people who would enable me, because if everyone around me drank; I was justified. I wasn't alone in my addiction, but this song embodies the revelation that you are the problem and simultaneously have a problem that you are justifying by involving everyone else. It's definitely a revelation that you are bringing everyone else around you down; even if you don't realize it in the moment. Hence the line; "Get somewhere safe, the further you go the better off you'll be.".

i honestly have to say my favorite was let it enfold you because it seemed the most raw and seemed to have an older post-hardcore sound to it (more than likely because it was old post-hardcore xD) also, whether the lyrics were dark or not, it seemed to be the most emotional lol
I loved their musical progression in that album but I personally thought that Let It Enfold you was the best.. His lyrics are so dark in that one, and the artwork for the cd itself was dope!!
