I absolutely love this arrangement. The soprano comes through flawless and stunning. As a vocalist & organist who performs & listens to tons music, this rendition really caught my attention! My cousin (who also has an angelic soprano voice) always sings this hymn as the Processional for our family funerals, and I usually sing "Be Not Afraid" for the Recessional. This young lady, and my cousin both still give me goosebumps when I hear them. Just beautiful. I'm not sure if it is the Organist's talent or this specific arrangement, but the organ just flows beautifully.
And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His Hand You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord, Who abide in His shadow for life, Say to the Lord, “My Refuge, My Rock in Whom I trust.” And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His Hand. The snare of the fowler will never capture you, And famine will bring you no fear; Under His Wings your refuge, His faithfulness your shield. And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His Hand. You need not fear the terror of the night, Nor the arrow that flies by day, Though thousands fall about you, Near you it shall not come. And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His Hand. For to His angels He’s given a command, To guard you in all of your ways, Upon their hands they will bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you, and hold you, and hold you And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
This is not a unique arrangement they are performing the version by MARK HAYES the organist is simply adapting the piano score as most good organists would do. He does a good job adapting it on the fly - possibly a change of registration for the middle verse would have been good along with a bit of soloing. Clearly the organist is very experienced as arranging piano scores well done. great voice as well.

The musicianship with the organist is perfect. You make that organ sound almost dovine.

WOW! Angelic! You both compliment each other! A True Blessing!
I can't watch this enough! The sound is just amazing!
I'm an organist and I love THIS arrangement! I thought that the With One Voice arrangement was the best but I am a fan of this too.
Good stuff!
An exquisite organ accompaniment. I sure would like to have it. Anybody know whence it comes?
